Anybody have the specifics as to what type of fuel cell this is? I'm assuming that with the "fuel cell" name it means hydrogen tanks and electric motors?? And no combustion motor??

Who cares about the looks (which I think looks good anyway) The fact that there is a fleet being produced now is Awsome!!!!!!

Yeah, that's going to keep the center of gravity nice and low, it should handle great for a 4800 lb vehicle.I know it's just a concept, but I'd really like to see something different for a dash design, a full console for one, and a different gauge pod.... I like the blue gauge there, just dont' like the bubble around it.

Looks great! Ok, so the car is ready..... but how about hydrogen filling stations? How costly and how hard will it be to start throwing these up at filling stations to make them fesable for market? I've had great interest in GM's hydrogen research since Autonomy was introduced in the late '90's. I only hope this can come true VERY soon. This would make hybrids instantly obsolete and make EVERYBODY play catch up to GM>

Yeah it was turning out pretty decent until I did the ass end... and it does have a minivan look to it unfortunatly. Not sure if I can redraw the rear without screwing up the whole pic or not.

Well this is all I have so far... proabably a little too rounded for a Cadillac but that's just how it came out. EDIT: Ok, I tried to fix the back end so it didn't look so much like a minivan, it's still not great but a little better. I'll see if I can tweek it some more.

BINGO! If your going to have 8 speeds you might as well just have a CVT.The new 4 speeds are not that great in the fact that they are actually 3 speeds. Overdrive does nothing. If there was actual 4 speeds, as in 3rd gear would end around 80 and 4 would take it from there, then they wouldn't be all that bad.

6 speeds yes.... 8 seems like overkill (except maybe in the HD trucks).

The woman drives just over 30k per year, So she'd use that up within just over 3 years.

3.73 gears but turbo's take a couple tics to create boost.

Is it already pre assembled when it get's to the Fremont plant or does GM build it from ground up using Toyota's main parts?

Wow, so overall sales for GM aren't really as good as they seem.

It was a post about how the Gov't in the '70's allowed Big 3 dealership owners to sell Totota out of their dealerships, the same dealership network that cost GM, Ford, Chrystler billions to setup. Wow, 2 more weeks before the deadline! Got my 3/4 view done a couple days ago, just need to do an interior shot of somekind... maybe a rear end shot. I see the rules state 3/4 rear end shot, but can I do a straight shot at it?

The XUV's proportions were off and cost. Motsly cost. Why buy something like that when you could have a decked out Avalanche? And how many times do you haul something that tall that you have to open it up?

The more I think of it, and maybe it was already noted, why is there a need for a minivan since the lambda's release? It's a 3rd row seat, FWD van that actually looks decent. Why make another 3rd row, FWD vehicle?

I don't think it matters who get's the minivan as long as they don't flood each brank with one (ie. Chevy, Buick, Pontiac, Saturn, GMC). Chevy can have one and either GMC or Buick can have one. That's it. Personally, the GMC van would probably look better than a Buick anyway so I saw stick with GMC>
