  1. I like my engines to last more than 500 miles before a full rebuild is required.

Im with a black and blue on this! I have the experience. I will be the Captain/recon/Sniper. I got the M82 and a couple Illegal M-16's. I also have 3 Replica AK-47's with the modification kits to make them full auto. Im sure i can get C4, grenades, and a M1A1 tank. Possible black hawk or apache if kevin still runs the hanger and pad on base. Oh and i have 14 Bullet proof vests in my basement. I have enough Pistols for the entire forum. Okay lets make this happen me-Alpha Dave-Delta Camino- Charlie Ocn- October B and B- Bravo Any one else want in? We can blow the rail road tracks then have the tank flank the entrance then we infiltrate in from all sides and slowly take command. then fly in the heli to patrol and drop in supplies/other C&G members. Then we can have Free gas!! All C and G members could drive 8.0l silverado HD's and not care. seriously im going to plan this out all night on how to take it over, Thanks... lol _____________________________________ i dont think it will work because American nature is to make money, also its very costly and you would need lots of it to please all the members. However a biodiesel club would be more plausible.

one word Amazing! This weekend was the Red Bull Air Race in Detroit. It was crazy. They put on a very good show and had much more then just air racing. they had helicopter stunts and sky divers and military aircraft flybys. They had a F-4U fly in formation with a F-18. that takes some skill there. Then the F-18 did a mach .98 fly by. Also had a B-25 flyby. Crazy stuff. I cant wait till next year. Did any of you get to make it? There must of been 200,000 people there easily. Forgot the camera but i will find some on the net and post them.
  8. well i hope your happy dodgefan this thread got me in trouble today. i was at a safety meetting and i thought of the this thread and i just start laughing out of nowhere.
  9. lol I sputtered out at the gas station and had to roll my car to the pump. sadly it was an even $100 fill up. Lately though i have been only taking it down 3/4 of a tank then filling it up again.

i had a 69 as my first car. ahh the memories.
  11. Update I did a couple of the things mentioned. No one knows anything. They took my phone number if anything comes up. Im going to try a couple things to find out who the owner is. Thanks for your suggestions. I just hope it doesn't disappear or is wasted away sitting there.
  12. have you drove a production turbo lately? Turbo lag is non existent. It feels like you wait longer for the trans to react then the turbo to spool. They have come a long way. After market stuff is different, but all the auto makers have got it down now. You do have to consider there is more to go wrong. once you cut the average V8 size down there is lees room for beefy components that have become known with V8s and there reliability. It then becomes more costly to make. stronger thiner parts are required. I'm not against it at all. I would love a 3.5L V8 but, as i deal with things like this in a way(machining and prototyping) it just doesn't make sense or is cost effective. The reason is because they now make really good v6's and I4's. I predict the come back of the I-6. look at the Lincolns LS and Thunderbird 3.9L v8 made 290 hp and only gets about 18 mpg average and sounds $h!ty next to any other v8. I hope im wrong but i just dont see it happening.

im good at the grocery store about that. just don't let me loose at lowes or Home Depot. I go there for teflon tape come home wiht a radial arm saw and and some pink panther. Now if kim goes to the store and she is only getting butter and bread. She will come home with a a bill over 150 bucks and fill the truck of the vibe. Oh well. I cant get mad over stupid stuff like that but at least i always have food when i get my munchies.
  14. I skip 1% and 2% and go straight for the D's.

you need to stop smoking that sticky icky ocn. Its bad for you.
  16. I must refrain from commenting, but who do you know that works on the line and makes a 100K? Only Skilled trades average about 60-70 in the big 3. Its the White Collars that make 115k to sit in a chair and direct the blue collars. Average pay on the line now is about 23 an hour which works out to be 48k a year which is very acceptable. New Hires on a GM Line make 15 an hour which is about 32k and no one should be forced to make a family Survive on that. Im against Toyota and there practices, but they are providing jobs although it is at the expense of the national debt but the bottom line is those people are happy to have a decent paying job.
  17. I agree, When your done with pint sized jugs you aren't satisfied and have a need for bigger jugs.
  18. On Jefferson when it turns to Shook there is an apartment complex on the lake. Well theres a fenced in lot of junk and in the corner there is a DeLorean just sitting there it hasn't moved in a couple of weeks. I drive by it daily drooling for it. Its just how do you find who owns it and how do you approach them to buy their car? camera phones suck i know. you can make it out at the edge. I want to almost steal it. it has a sad puppy face on it too like its neglected. The last thing i need is another car but I want it.

"Got Time, No Money Got Money, No Time" "Money Can't buy Happiness" This one has more personal meaning but I will never forget it, "When a Soldier gets to heaven, To Saint Peter He will Tell, One more soldier reporting sir, I have served my time in hell!"
  20. I hate the really big ones casue you know they have that fake feel to them and they dont look natural next to other jugs

  24. Woa there badass... I didnt know Rush still did concerts. I love Working Man and of course Tom Sawyer. How are They? Still good or has age slowed them down. Listening to Tom petty and The Who right now
  25. my mind is bleeding... That would damage the environment a lot how about covering roofs with solid flashing or drap aluminum foil over the roofs? that would work plus houses would be cooler as the heat and stuff reflect instead your average shingle/tar roof absorbs heat
