Since my shop I work at has opened its garages to the public for about 2 years now, every BMW I have seen seems to have either spun bearings or Catastrophic engine failure. Normally we tell them to go to the dealer then they tell us how much they will charge then we under cut it by almost $2k or more then I'm stuck with some European car expert In Bay 4 with a engine in 10 billion pieces over 5000 tags where sensors hook up and calling BMW for either parts numbers or .PDF schematics. You would think BMW would be good at making a engine by now. This is probably the 4th one this month. Is it common for BMW engines to Seize or self destruct? or are Metro Detroit area Beamer owners just unlucky? Anyway i just stopped to say hey because i haven't been on in a while.

I recently bought a car and bought it with one payment the dealer was shocked and confused. I have been off the boards for awhile and something major has happened. Well Lets just say by 2010 if everything stays the same my retirement fund will be 7 digits big. And I its hard to keep my hands off it I want a Koiensegg CCX so bad...... But that wont happen yet...

I only use Asbestos pads and Shoes. Zero Fade and Lung Cancer whats not to love? besides After being rear ended about 9 times in the Caprice I learned that bumpers were separate from the car for a reason and were never apart of the cars fenders and all.

nothing about it said show car as there was brake dust on the rims and some grime under the hood. under the hood looked like under a Vette. not concepty. The emblem i think it was the new one i rember it being really silvery it could of had red i don't remember now. dammit.

its just another car. It really doesn't do anything for me. the interior is weak. the lines are rather curvy in person not as boxy as pictures have it. I have to wait and see how it does but i think it will do as good as the GTO, but i hope a i am wrong. As the crowds around it where pretty big as people where trying to figure out what it was. it looks like the new emblem is staying. the wheels look nice and under the hood is very clean. Im up in the air about this one. i would have took pics but i didnt expect to see a G8 chillin around.

I cant stand macs Give me a computer with XP or windows 2000. any day! Every time i used a mac its either froze crashed or some other screwy compatibility problem with osX. Also there price tag is hefty. maybe i have bad luck or something but i guess until windows goes bankrupt i will stay with windows.

Not true RPM has nothing to do with performance. The only thing it has is a tad faster Seek time. 10k Raptor has 4.6ms But only has Sata 1.5 interface for a 150gb it cost about 180 while a Caviar has 8.7ms time and has a Sata 3.0 interface for 160 cost about 59 So if you want one nosiey ass HDD with a slower interface and spend 3x as much. Than be my guest. Its more for Bragging rights. What you should look for is The Cache 16mb and SataII or 3.0 interface. As For Vista Wait a couple of years Its so unstable and non of my devices were compatible. there is no drivers out for it yet either gaming is rather slow on it

poorly designed i know of 2 19 year kids that died because it exploded in a light fender bender.

I hope you got strong arms that is not for a open lake environment that is for wide slow moving rivers. For open lakes you go long skinny enclosed kayaks. Just a heads up.

should of went with Mushkin! XP2-6400 4-4-3-10 1T @ 1.95v 800mzh or i can bump it up to 5-5-5-13 2T @ 2.15v also it has Micron D9 chips. although the ram cost $160 for 2x1 gb sticks. Also I have a Clr CMOS button on my motherboard so if I F something up in bios i just pres the button and turn it on bam everything goes back to stock settings or one of the 8 bios configurations i can save for later use.

rigs of rods its a very basic driving game with no real task its been in development for quite some time. but the physics is phenomenal. yeah i have 2 PS2 the original first ones and a slim line. my original one started doing that thing were it wouldn't read DVD's or blue disc playstation games. Then i heard of Tech school that fixed them for free since they used it in a lab for some Electrical college then once i got it back i tore it apart looked at what they did then went to radio shack bought 10 cent parts and charged people $40 to fix it. although its been a good 2 years since i heard of the problem
