That was a real buzz kill. But yeah i started to look into it and it would cost a lot more than i thought. I still want to powder coat a engine though. If have a 90 the boxy style. When i had some cracked out shop do it it only cost 250 for a coat of semi metallic paint. but Then kilned the car or some thing and every bondo spot that was done by some high schoolers popped out so it looks real bad.

I might have to check that place out. Yes i have a bench seat and because I'm rather tall its always all the way back and my knees still hit the steering wheel and its jacked up to semi position. Right now I am starting to list a bunch of ideas for my car with in the next 5 years I want to customize/Mod it. I think i settled on a 350 with around 330 hp. Which i think i can do realistically for cheap. Bolted to a Th-350 with a shift kit and whole shot torque converter. Or I was thinking of installing 5 speed in it. And put a beefed up 3.73 rear end with limited slip. Some 16-17 inch torque thrusts I will pay a old friend around 2k for a nice paint job. I think i can do this all for under 8k I will do most of the metal work and interior and stuff. Do you think i should use sheet metal wrapped in padded leather or wood wrapped in padded leather for interior panels?

whats the point of dropping 500k on a car you won't drive? I rather spend 30k to get a car looking as good and it functions and i can tear it up. If i ever get my 66 Toro if the numbers match thats great. but if i have to pull something out to make it run i wont regret it. I want something to tear up, Not trailer to shows.
