Spoilers - removing them
Most of the time when you remove spoilers, there are big holes than need to be plugged, and then the whole deck needs to be primed and painted. It's often easier to swap out the whole rear deck.

The New Infiniti G35
For a major refresh, it's ok. It looks like they took the old sedan and added some of the coupe's elements to it. Overall, more successful than the new Lexus IS. I do hate the trend away from bodyside moldings.

Bye Bye Blazer...
Wow. You're mom's fortunate she wasn't seriously hurt. The roof suffered lots of deformation. I hope she starts to buckle up.

New Altima
Nissan did a good job with this car. The design is more successful than the Maxima's. The upswept character line is one of my favorite design elements. The taillights may be a bit busy. The interior appears more functional than exciting. In the center stack, the controls are placed high where they are more reachable.

Somebody help me
What is about your Aurora that says "Hit me"? Sorry about the latest wreck. Between this car's misfortunes and your dad's, I'd say it's a good thing you have big cars.

Lucky, No More...
Sorry to hear about your dog, BV. That's a sad account. It's amazing that such creatures can offer so much and yet ask for so little. Dogs can be expensive to maintain, but when you consider the amount of joy they offer, they are a bargain.

Edmunds Full Test, ES350
The outside mirrors are placed away from the body to decrease wind noise. It's fun to call the ES a rebadged Camry, but everything about the car is upgraded that you're not just paying for a different nameplate.

Edmunds Full Test, ES350
I sat in a ES350, and it's a decent place to be. The center stack isn't so bizarre in person. There's a good chance I'll get to drive one of these as a dealer loaner when I take my IS in for service in a couple of months. The last ES was too floaty, but was a nice ride otherwise.

HHR in Motor Trend
The Vibe is built at the NUMMI plant in Fremont, CA by UAW workers. The Matrix is built at Toyota's Cambridge plant in Canada by nonunionized workers. It's possible that the general design is nearly identical, but there may be differences in manufacturing. Of course, it may just be perception and biases as well to account for differences. However, the quality issues are probably not going to be found on brand new cars, but those that are a year old when the car starts to fall apart.

Great detailing up front. How is Cadillac going to keep selling the STS?

CAR AND DRIVER $15,000 COMPACTS
On paper, the Caliber looks good, but in real life, the Fit looks much better. The Caliber just seems like a cheap car with tough-looking styling. I even like the Yaris more than the Caliber now. In C/D's review, the point spread is high: 1. Honda Fit 228 (out of 250) 2. Nissan Versa 203 3. Kia Rio5 188 4. Toyota Yaris 185 5. Hyundai Accent 176 6. Dodge Caliber 161 7. Suzuki Reno 160

Escalade Wins King Bling battle: Motor Trend
I've been seeing new Range Rovers, especially the Sport model, all over California. I think the new Escalade will become a very familiar sight also. I took another look at the new Escalade the other day. It's impressive inside and out. I'd really like take a new GMT900 out for a drive to see how GM tightened things up.

Is April Fool's Finally Over, Now?
I'm thinking, this really isn't happening to our BV, is it? I hope everything works out for you.

Escalade Wins King Bling battle: Motor Trend
As for the interior, Range Rover sets the standard for luxury SUVs. The wood even looks like real wood.
