  1. Here's a couple of pics I took: I like the HHR a lot. The rear seat is a little tight, but the whole package is pretty tidy.
  2. It looks good because it looks nothing like a Mitsubishi, except that the headlights have a hint of the last Galant.

Saw a red NSX and a Chrysler Pacifica with license plates "2BCOOOL".

The Profile was ahead of its time and was exactly the kind of vehicle that Olds needed to stay afloat.

Chevy offers an accessory chrome grille that looks good for '03 to '05 trucks. I think it looks better than billet grilles (don't like the grille guard though):

Originally the Silverado was supposed to be around for a couple of years, so a refresh for two model years makes sense. Plus these changes probably cost next to nothing except that the body-colored grille and bumper cap probably adds a little bit of complexity to the assembly.
  7. The Saab 9000 was also developed with Fiat (Chroma), Lancia (Thema), and Alfa Romero (164). Not rebadges, though.

That's too much chrome for the SS. For the non-SS models, I do like the HD-grille but not the domed hood. I also like that the top of the bumper is now painted.
  9. I've driven an Astro or Safari numerous times, including for long trips. For what it is, big and functional, it's unique in the market. The engine is rough and the front legroom is lacking, but hey, it's a truck. Its main strength is towing. For a people mover, there are better choices. A GMT355 or GMT360-derived mid-size van would be nice--I just don't know if there could be a business case for one.

This is a huge leap forward for the Equus. The dash is like a melding of several luxury makes. Hyundai's on a roll.
  11. Congrats on the new vehicle. Lots of nice comfy features.
  12. The Astro was a nice niche vehicle, but I don't think developing a replacement is worth the resources. Its demise should be adequately covered by the mid-size SUV's and the upcoming lambdas.

I just noticed the little GM badge on this guy. When will GM come to its senses? As for the paint scheme, this combo does add to the retro theme and maybe even adds a touch of class. It won't be to everybody's taste, though.
  14. What a cutie. Congrats on your new addition to the family.

The new Sonatas are all over the place. Yesterday I saw my first Colorado Xtreme. It was a red crew cab. Very handsome.

Honda is being more adventurous in the sheetmetal department. It's unfortunate that the sedan isn't particularly attractive. The odd proportions do not help.
