i actually just got my permit about a month ago. im eyeballing the 250 class, the honda cbr250r to be exact. its perfect for what i want, a commuter bike. 25hp is plenty enough to get down the road and keep me out of trouble. i like speed. i need slower vehicles to keep me governed if you will. my buddy has a yzr6... and has seen 180 on it. absolutely ridiculous. i may eventually move to a 600, but there is no need to go anymore than that in my mind unless it pulls double duty for track days.

working in the ER, i see a lot of motorcycle vs whatever come in. sometimes its the riders fault for being stupid, sometimes both parties made small miscalculations, and then there are the honest accidents where the cyclist wasnt seen or it was just unpreventable. in any case its rarely a happy ending. i know people have freedom of choice and all but for the love of every thing Holy, wear a helmet, it helps. even bicylist wear em.

  17. so, the gov will go after this guys cars? have they looked at the "rat rod" scene lately? it scares the piss out of me to look at teh horrible workmanship on these "expressions" quite frankly electric chairs seem safer than some of the cobbled up messes that show up at some car shows.
  18. my dad almost bought one of these back in 87. had 11 miles on the clock. i think i have pics of it posted on here somewhere. a dentist in atlanta bought it, drove it home and put it in his basement on jack stands. still had the plastic wrap on everything in the interior, and all the tags hanging as delivered. the dentist passed away and the car was sold at his estate sale. the asking price fo the car in 87? $21K i believe. surely it goes on a list of the ones that got away. this has to be the best pace vette. there was also a buyers guide in last months hemmings muscle machines featuring this car.
  19. a co worker posted a family owned 87 suburban 4x4 on the cheap. i emailed her about the miles and pictures. i dont need a car but for the money and depending on the shape it could be a fun toy.
