  1. i can honestly think of over a hundred.... mostly GM
  2. it just sucks when my dreams outpace my measily salary....$6k a year isnt much for projects
  3. i love vega's... maybe with a little 406, a 9 inch rear, a built TH400, maybe a 12 point cage, tubbed for slicks oh jeez i cant stop dreaming
  4. whenever i see a car, i see its potential for what it can be... theres a 70 chevelle around the corner that just sits.... if i had some cash to speak of, id ask about it.... im thinking pro-touring chevelle with an LS motor, T56 and an airride suspension :AH-HA_wink:
  5. purely looks wise, id take the US version over that other crap any day
  6. i want an LT1 6 speed C4... i mean a ZR-1 would rock, but im no rockafeller
  7. Hey camino, ever see an old car that needs work, and without knowing if its for sale, completley plan out what you would do with the car if you had it?
  8. thats actually really close to me... ive seen that listing before
  9. well IIRC, the 2007 GMT-900's went on sale Jan 2006
  10. damn old men and their oldsmobiles! on another note.. i find it SOOOO sad most kids my age never heard of oldsmobile unless their parents own one.... :angry2:
  11. im kinda partial to the nova name...
  12. 1992? two years after i was born
  13. Camaro on alpha? fine as long as V8s are available Camaro on EPII? NO! GM is smarter then a FWD Camaro... even if its the most sophisticated Camaro yet, if theres no driveshaft, i will forever turn my back on GM.... that sent a baaaad chill through me
  14. we've discussed the problem with retro before... all three pony cars have to either evolve or die stylistically, and since the Mustang and even more so the Challenger are more or less carbon copies of original designs, redesigning them poses a challenge.... i think since the Camaro is more of a modern package, it has the best chance of being redesigned without alientating its new fan base.
  15. bring back the vega!
  16. i say you need an SS soon :AH-HA_wink:
  17. not the way a V8 sounds...
  18. Plate= ZETA FTW or RWDV8FTW or just for fun I8URMOM (its available!)
  19. yeah GMTG74.. you think thats bad? whats the camaro mark up gonna be?
  20. LS motor? turbo diesel?
  21. FOG, my only fear of camaro going alpha is lack of V8's... otherwise, for a pony car, a smaller, lighter, more agile platform is perfect
  22. sixty8, im totally with you there... hell even if i had no left leg i ghetto rig something hand operated.... i neeed a stick!
  23. theres actually more then one RWD 351 powered focus running around the island here.... what are the engine plans for project camino?
  24. :AH-HA_wink: hypothetically, when gasoline falls out of favor as the major fuel (which i predict ill see in my lifetime) prices should drop dramatically... while it may become a niche market, as long as gasoline is still being produced, its more of an excuse to pickup land yacht 70's boats with single digit MPG ratings... as long as some good old cars are still around...
  25. ill be 18 in june, hopefully one of the dealerships will let me try one out... and maybe by then the stick will be out!
