okay... heres the way i see it, to all who are picking all the little stuff wrong with this car... i lovee this car... i think it looks awesome... i love every angle, i love the grille, i love the hood... all of it the only tiny problem i have is the taillights, but no biggie... when you think of the problems with this car, just think of GM a few years ago... because we would not be getting anything like this... we'd have more mundane, boring cookie cutter cars that dont build excitement at all. dont think of what this car doesnt have... think what it does have!

Ive been so lazy that up until now, i havent made a thread about my 1st car... for a few months, i was looking for LT1 Camaros, for cheap, fast, reliable power.... i was also looking at 5.0 Mustangs, and Monte SS's... i heard a kid i know from the fire dept talking about his uncles 71 Nova for sale, and i thought i definatley couldnt afford it... he told me it was a project car, and was $3000... so me, being intrigued, go to check out this car... and i get excited.. so after thoroughly inspecting the car, bringing back a friend, deciding i could handle the restoration needed, talking to the owner (who was selling the car to make room in his garage for the new 07 Shelby he bought) and negotiated the price, so on December 28th, i took posession of a beautiful, primer, 71 Nova it was originally a 6 banger, now a 350...has a TH350 trans, only rust is the front fenders which are getting patched... It was originally lime green, with a green interior, but now has a black interior needs some parts which im stockpiling now, and its going in for a paint job in a few weeks... Metallic blue with White Stripes heres the pics i got of the car:

well im only working part time obviously, but my schedule's tight... 5 days of school, fire dept training, 25 hours of work (i stock frozen foods in a supermarket) mock trial, and thank god drivers ed is over

is it me or does it look more agressive as the vauxhall? the cadillac front end looks... i dunno...boring... but the best catera ive seen was an LS1 conversion

listen if my friend can generate the need for oh Sh!t handles in his 180hp tired Monte Carlo SS, i think that car should have as many as possible!... once his gf reached up for a handle (going a little too fast, maybe?) and almost grabbed the T-Top release..... that could have ended badly

does that hood scoop give anyone a 98-02 Camaro SS vibe?

i went to the NY auto show last april, which was cool, but you couldnt even go neafr the camaro and challenger cause they were on the turn tables... i got in trouble three times! 1st) asked really hot announcer lady at GM display if she came with the car, she called me a perv 2nd) pulled a metal chevy display emblem off the wall, security yelled at me. 3rd) after sitting in line for 10 minutes, i got to sit in the ZO6, and while exploring found the car i found the key under the seat... after my friends chanting me on... i stupidly started the car... no revving, just letting it idle... apparently they don't like that.... security escorted me out of the floor too the lobby.

i was hoping we'd get a production-looking model, but screw it! that car is too damn hot.... that color is sick... i hope if they offer stripes on the hardtop, they stick to the chevy way of NOT putting the stripes over the roof, cause all the original cars offered with hood/deck stripes had none on the roof, looks better that way IMO

o man, if it runs correctly, i say do it! i love turbo regals

i absolutley love those massive T-Tops on the trailhawk... but im curious of how much each glass panel weighs

guess thats not supposd to be production ready, nice tiny mirrors!
