Buick Enclave and AUTOMOBILE
Honestly, I've been in a real Solstice, and there are certain fit and finishing issues. Drastic improvement from the past, but definitely there's still room.

Cadillac BLS In Depth
Your main concern is that Saab is not RWD. You'll never like Saab. I think the BLS is fine for Europe. Looking at the bigger picture, Euro cars are more about compact size cars. The BLS is just a quick and dirty badge job to an extent as GM Europe needed it. It's almost time for the 9-3 to be redesigned anyways. As long as the NA Cadillac lineup stays RWD, then it's fine.

Newsweek on the return of Detriot
Well he was telling me that it was his dad that wants this car. They were actually looking into a Boxster-type vehicle, without the pricetag. He does say the top is actually easy to operate.

Why can't GM control its dealerships?
If it is fully loaded (as in fully fully loaded), then it really isn't that far off: http://www.pontiac.com/byo/buildSummary.pg...rand=DIVISIONAL

Newsweek on the return of Detriot
If not a retractable hardtop, at least a motorized top. I have a friend was considering a Solstice, but then the dealbreaker was that the top was manual.

Are you sure this is a base model though? There's no mention of equipment whatsoever.

Actually, I've heard of stories about people welding halves of cars together, then when the car is totalled, it splits and effectively kills people inside. I don't think a typical car out of factory would split in half when hit.- Buick Statesman?

Nice. Just keep it high like that, and people should forget the Cavalier sooner enough. Maybe get Saab to help out with safety on all the cars? Look at the 9-3 and it's obvious that GM can get safety working if they do it.- Elements to a good car review
