Well yeah, of course. They're two different cars. What exactly I mean is the price point of the two cars are close enough to be competitive with the whole market.

For those who continually bash the G6 for its interior quality, please get your a$$ into one and look at it first. What exactly do you mean by "quality issues"? It's not like it's falling apart or anything. I remember so well, I felt the dash of the so called luxury Acuras and Infinitis at the Auto Show, it's pretty much the same damn thing they use on my dash. Oh what? It "feels" rough? Quit the subjective crap! I personally find the quality not a problem. I got what I paid for. Open your eyes and look at that damn window sticker. For the SAME EQUIPMENT it's THOUSANDS cheaper than the competitors. If you guys have to continually have to bash how cheap the materials, fine. Get them to use leather or suede like on everything. But then morons will start complaining how high the price is. There's a balance to everything. You can't have everything and expect to pay nothing.

Pricing looks right. Essentially a loaded Solstice.

Not to ruin the party, but I don't think it's anything that special. IIRC in the original Velite press release, there was a video showing the Velite concept being driven around. They have to put it on something to make it drive around right? As long as it runs, it doesn't matter if it's a prototype platform or a current production one.

My friend told me that these hood ornaments are actually useful. He says that it's easier to stay on the centre of the lane with it.

You have to understand that's a problem that we as engineers have to deal with everyday. If things don't break there's nothing for us to redesign and fix. And seriously that's somewhat how I got "fired" in my previous co-op term (Well, it was the end of the term for me, but they cut the position because hardly anything happened to the network. It was too stable and we attended to any problems too intensively.)

Probably I won't be taking up journalism as my career, I'm doing it just for fun. I want to stick to Comp Eng.
