  1. That won't happen. I don't like taking pictures of myself :P Car, for sure. But let me finish my exams first, when I get back to Toronto.
  2. I see this: Nissan Skyline 4-door. Just if they have quad tail-lamps...
  3. This is finally final. Vehicle located, switched to a V6 for a slight bit more, available next week. One last step left is insurance. Time to say goodbye to Cavalier
  4. http://eogld.ecomm.gm.com/NASApp/domestic/...&page=&butID=1# The "unavailable for order" message is gone it seems. Does that mean dealers can order now and should arrive in 3-4 months?
  5. The G6 isn't intended for the GTO muscle car crowd.
  6. ... Programming languages and Compilers Electronic Devices and Transistors Digital Computers and Assembly RC, RL, Opamp Filters and Circuits Numerical Methods and MATLAB... But I can't. Finals @ Friday.
  7. Happy Birthday, BV! Present:
  8. But after reading Josh's annoucement, I think I am proved wrong. The C6 was weeks from announcement when it was caught, but this one is years. It could really ruin it.
  9. [joke for pressure relief] If it's a G6 Sedan I'll beat you up personally [/joke for pressure relief] :P
  10. If "quality" is as defined by the media, then no. I would say yes if "quality" is defined as functionality and durability. Design for me is in between, as long as it's not puking ugly like the Civic, then I'm fine with it.
  11. I can see the DTS took a lot from this one. Although I would consider it a poor poor execution of an awesome concept. Hope the ULS (if still on) will be something like this good.

Found this... http://www.jalopnik.com/cars/europa/index.php According to this it IS the Ecotec, but the one from the Astra OPC and not the Cobalt SS one. Can't comment on the accuracy though.
  13. Don't get me wrong. Not that I couldn't see the pics and now I'm posting this. Could the pics be leaked intentionally by GM? From a marketing point of view, it's very clever indeed. Leak the picks, then taking them down immediately, bluffing legal action. Gets people thinking, speculating, etc, etc. Just think of all the hype it's getting now. At least it got everybody and a lot of forum talking and stuff. Also serves the effect of a marketing survey. GM gets the valuable information that people DO want a Camaro. I could be wrong though.
  14. OK, just one question to those who have seen it. What color is it?
  15. I thought the last heard was the Ion's going to Lordstown alongside with the Cobalt. Wasn't it?
  16. Almost forgot. First with owner on road '06 Monte Carlo. An LT model I think. Thought it was an Impala at first from a distance, then a closer look and saw the roofline and 2 doors.
  17. I think that's the Astra Convertible. The current production one is still based off the old one. So no Buick Velite or G6 Convertible.

Is that an Ecotec? Looks familiar.
  19. A brown latest gen BMW M5. You'd expect someone driving it in this type of weather. Also, a Chevrolet Sprint convertible. These things still exist??
  20. Makes sense. 3 year a life cycle. Despite the fact the Cobalt is a hit, there are some minor stuff that proves the Cobalt was rushed a slight bit. Somehow after the makeover of the Malibu and the Impala, the Cobalt starts to stand out from a design look point of view, looking less like a family. I would hope that the Cobalt bear more family resemblance.
  21. Well, actually, I test drove the G6 in a GT, with every single goodies including the panoramic roof, so it should be even heavier. A bit too quick for my style. As I mentioned, I don't need that much power generally, although I do haul goods around on the highway often (i.e. my crap when I move). But the latest news is that the sales manager seems to refuse to sell the V6 at my negotiated price. Battle continues.
  22. I noticed the density of Toronto has gone up pretty quick in the past few years, compared to what it was like 10+ years ago when my family migrated there. It's almost comparable to Hong Kong (literally).
  23. From what I heard Lambda will be capable of filling that void. Plus, the Rendezvous has a 7-passenger capacity. So I think it's perfectly fine if it's dropped, as long as they get the Lambdas here on time. In fact, I see more regular TBs here than EXTs.
  24. Someone get Mike in here? He can go on for days about this! :D
  25. But actually, if that body design was built on an improved B-Body, with a LS2 V8 it will be HOT.
