I for one don't care. If it's a competitive car it will sell. If you want a hardtop so badly, here's a suggestion: get a convertible, rip out the ragtop mechanics and weld a hard top to it. There you go. Your so called true hardtop.

The G6 is being refreshed next year.

In Canada it's "Ignite the Feeling", then each car has a "Feel" (something). For the G6 it's "Feel Alive".

Alpha Cobalt? Hmm... I thought Alpha was supposed to be RWD...

I really don't care if there's a plate or not in the front. It's just happen so that the plate is too high. Everybody should just have UK-spec plates. Thin piece of plastic that just sticks on, doesn't obstruct anything. I think it's just the camo. If you look closely there is a quarter window that extends into the rear camo cover. At first when I saw it I thought Prius, but then a closer look at a different angle it was better. And that gap I think it's just because they're testing a new platform. By far I've only seen the old AMC wagons and the Calibers with that much ride height.

I bet it's only available outside NA.

Yesterday I was at a Pontiac meet, and one lady claimed that she test drove the G8, at a dealership in Cambridge. I was like WTF, but she was sure that was a G8, RWD and everything. I guess I have to confirm this myself when I head to Waterloo...

Last time I took my G6 into service, took longer than expected, the guys gave me a "rental" Malibu. The Malibu was the dealership-run "rental" company. Had to sign this rental agreement, but it was pretty much blank. Only copied my driver's license number and that was it.

RIP, G6 GXP.

I like it, reminds me of the Mazda 3. But some angles look flattering. Second sedan pic makes it looks like the Sebring.

There's just so many mistakes on the Pontiac website, I seldom go to it now. The Online Order Guide has much more information and it's more accurate. - G6 Specifications page still shows a GTP sedan when there is no such thing as GTP for 08 - Gallery still has a manual G6 pic when the option is long gone - (Canadian) Shows the engine makes 21hp - At one point according to the guide you can order a car with no engine - all engines listed as optional

I moved from a Cavalier into a G6. The red was a welcome change from the greenish-white.

Maybe a green version? I always thought green lighting in Buicks are cool.

For one thing it does look marginally better than the eyesore Camry we have here.
