Cell phone use while driving - yikes
So I'm not even allowed to sing along to my CDs while I'm driving to keep myself awake on the 401? That sucks...

I'll wait for more pics before judgement. The height looks misproportioned.

Tire Replacement
My friend's Mazda3 has Eagle RS-As and those were nightmares, especially for the freezing rain weather here. The LS2 that come with the base GTPs don't have much good rep either.

Cell phone use while driving - yikes
I'm in between as needed and very rare. My mobile is actually my house number as well, so I can't afford to not use the phone. Although when I use it, I use a bluetooth, and still keep my eyes on the road. I've never (touch wood) had any dangerous moments while this, but I'm still not endorsing the use of phones while driving. This needs skills and which most housewives in Highlanders and high school girls driving their mom's Camrys lack.

Tire Replacement
I'm looking to replace the Uniwobbles that came with the G6, although at this point I'm not 100% sure if I'm doing it yet. The main reason for my thought was I almost got into an accident because of the damn tires, skidding towards the opposite lane. Since summer is almost here so I think it shouldn't be too bad for now. Although they also suck in handling. I'm currently considering these: 1. Continental ContiExtremeContact 2. BFGoodrich Traction T/A 3. Toyo Versado LX 5. Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S All of them are V-Rated or H-Rated. I'm leaning towards the Continentals, as I've heard good things about the performance and it's cheaper than the others, but I also heard bad things about Continental, as they were the OE tires on the G6 GT and they were bad with a capital B. I couldn't find rating info for the Toyos. It was recommended by one of the tire shops, and they said it's a new tire. Opinions?

C6 vs. Rustang GT
Mustang drivers are idiots. I read somewhere in a thread where they insist that the G6 has a supercharger.

What Browser Do You Use?
What laptop do you have? Mine works just fine with the Synaptics driver. Have you tried updating your touchpad drivers?

I wonder if you can order an exterior delete option? I like the regular Z06 body, but the mechanics of this.

GENEVA: 2008 Mazda2 (Demio)
Maybe I have set expectations for Mazda, I don't like this one. It looks like something from Hyundai.

Toyota reveals Hybrid X Concept
Toyota manages to amaze me every single time. They can start with, practically a piece of junk, and make it worse.

Crap Desktop vs. Crap Notebook
Also, if you're on a budget, you might want to keep an eye out for closeout stock Thinkpads. They're very high quality laptops and should last pretty long. There's this guy who sells open-box ones for decent prices on eBay. http://stores.ebay.ca/ThinkPadWorld You might want to look for a T43 or a lower spec T60, which should be cheap and quick.

Crap Desktop vs. Crap Notebook
Pentium Duo Core is an OEM-only (read: "fleet-only" in car terms) neutered version of the Core Duo with cache stripped off, and in turn Core Duo is two old Pentium M cores stuck together. Core 2 Duo is the new Merom core. Supposingly the Core 2 is designed from ground up, and has better power specifications, i.e. better battery life and performance. More info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Core_2_Duo#Merom

How much does gas have to be before you scrap your V8 plans?
I'm pretty sure sooner or later there will be V8s that take as much as as today's 4-cylinders. But probably that would be considered high consumption by then.

Cheersandgears Trade-in
DNSscoop is down, but there's an alternate one called LeapFish. How can we forget this one? http://leapfish.com/domain_name_appraisal....eneralwatch.com It sure can't buy you a Dunbar Daylight Super-Duper Sport Fly Like A Regal 1999 Edition LS! C&G is actually worth more here as well. http://leapfish.com/domain_name_appraisal....ersandgears.com

About to purchase a new car, help please :)
If you like the Vibe, have you looked at the HHR? Around the same price, but much roomier and has a more powerful engine. And welcome to the site!

RWD G6 rumor?
Not to mention a coupe and a convertible as well.

3.9 Liter & 6 Speed Manual, Canceled?
The engine's still around though, only available on the Convertible.
-
3.9 Liter & 6 Speed Manual, Canceled?
No, it's gone. From the ordering guide: -Mechanical section-Deleted (MU9) Transmission, 6-speed manual entirely. Week of 12/4/2006 That option only lasted for a year and a few weeks. Only ones left are dealer stock. I wouldn't miss it. A lot of owners were complaining about reliability issues with the tranny unit.

Crap Desktop vs. Crap Notebook
Do you do some heavy duty stuff (e.g. compiling or 3D rendering), or play games and want to run the game at maximum resolution? If not, a Thinkpad T60 or midsize Asus laptop (G1, A8) may fit your needs, and can replace both the desktop and the laptop. I've used both Thinkpads and Asus laptops, I have an Asus M5 myself, and assigned a Thinkpad T42 at work. Both of them are decent quality and speed is excellent. Here's one that I think should good for you: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=91775

GM sales rise!!; Ford, Chrysler slip
Pontiac dropped 5.9% from January to February. This includes the few out of production cars (Grand Am, Bonneville, Sunfire, GTO). Minus those the change was around 3%. Majority of the drop was the Solstice (who would buy a roadster in winter anyways?).More details here: http://media.gm.com/servlet/GatewayServlet...amp;docid=33729
