saw the G8 in person
For some reason the more I look at the G8, the less excited I become. The mechanicals are great and I'll bet the car is better quality than my 2001 Grand Prix but the styling of the car does'nt make me want to go run and trade it in, looks like I will be keeping it until something more appealing style wise comes about, if that ever happens....

New Morocco Brown interior for '08 AURA
I took my mom to test drove an Aura to get a $25 gift certificate and because I have wanted to check one out, it had that brown interior. At first I thought it looked alright but the more I looked at things the cheaper they appeared. She was appalled by how horrendously cheap the fake wood looks and the darker brown leather on the center parts of the seats was so stiff and vinyl like it was pathetic. She then started rambling on to the salesman about how this is why she wants another Lexus instead of gm and so on. I had to remind her we were at a Saturn dealership, not a Cadillac dealer. Overall I was pretty disappointed with the interior but a different color combo probably would have done wonders.

New Buick Super Images
hmmmm, looks like the Lucerne Super has the same ugly style 15 spoke rim that my special edition gp has.

Seen any hot cars?
My first 08 CTS, silver with Michigan plates, went by so fast it took a second to realize what it was. Looked great though.

How often do you clean your vehicle(s)?
In the summer I hand wash it at least twice and week and vacuum/clean the inside (condition leather, scrub mats, clean windows, dash, etc.) once a week. Usually gets wax at least monthly. In the winter when I had unlimited works washes I was running it through at least 3-4 times a week. I can't stand a dirty car.

Couple of pics of my last generation Grand Prix GT
Ah yes, one of my favorite Ponitacs....I liked it so much I just had to get one. To me, this generation was perfect as far as looks go, aggressive, muscular, and clean. There are not many new midsized sedans today that I really like more looks wise than this car, so I will probably be holding on to it for a while. It has aged quite well and it still amazes me today how many compliments I get on it from all different types of people. Looks like yours was very well kept but I am sure you will have more fun in the GXP.

Bought a new Pontiac Grand Prix GXP
Congratulations on the purchase, I am sure you will be very happy. As much as people like to whine and complain about how the current Grand Prix looks, is fwd, on a dated platform, and so on, I don't really care, I have always had a soft spot for them, especially in GXP form. It is nice to drive a car that is different and at least stands out, and the GXP GP definatley does. I hope it serves you well.

Cell phone use while driving - yikes
People on cell phones tend to annoy me, especially the ones that like to tailgate, drive way too slow or way too fast, drive over on the shoulder, don't notice I am there, or pull out in front of me. Luckily my music is usually too loud or the windows and sunroof are open so half the time I never hear my phone ring, which is fine with me. Ocassionaly I will use it briefly if I am meeting someone or need to call work or something important, otherwise it can usually wait.
