Dude, I know IFS can be done well, but the GM full size trucks got smaller front end parts than my freinds wifes Jeep liberty. The HD 3500's should be available with SFA just like Ford and Dodge. I have never had a problem with IFS it works fine on 1/2 tons. I would'nt have anything else in a Z71 off road package.

Don't see a SFA (Dana 60 or 70) in front so I guess we'll have to put up with those car front ends (Junk). It boggles me to see GM build such stellar trucks and put that cheasy IFS in the front end. Its like a 69 Z28 with a straight six.

Brandon, Farm Dudes do work there trucks hard, my best friends family has a farm in North Dakota and GM trucks are all they buy. Here in Colorado I know Ford HD's out sell GM trucks becuase of the front ends. I have had dudes ask me If I bought my HD with a DANA 60 front end in it. When I say we did it they say that if GM did a 3500HD with a SFA they would trade there Dodge or Ford for it. IFS is for 1/2 tons

BTW, If someone cares enough to show me how to post a picture I would show you pics of our HD's. We have installed Dana 60's in some of them. Now the front end don't break. Thanks again.

I asked my dad once when I was a kid why he didn't buy those really cool 1/2 ton girl chasers. He said to me "boy if I wanted a nice ride I would buy a Cadilac". Lets remember this guys. They are repeating what we have heard for quite a while. There is at least 1 volume sedan on this same platform, a Chevy. There may also exist a Buick and Pontiac sedan. Also there could EASILY be different wheelbases, STS vs CTS ring a bell. A LWB GTO coupe is not out of the question. Lets remember GM doesn't have the money rolling around to just make expensive concepts with no intention of producing them! There is a reason for this concept and that reason is to see how the public reacts to a cartoon version of the exterior, like the Torana did for the VE cars. Public is reacting well and that bodes VERY well for the business case! To Lutz, GM I will buy one maybe two. Lets roll Dudes I am waiting. Untill then I will keep beating my 96. B)

I have been saving up for the new Camaro, so now if it dos'nt come I will buy the challenger. The GM ship is listing bad and I will push women and children out of the way to jump ship. The challenger rocks "Build It"
