Montego probably has HUGE rebates on the hood right now... and since Mercury is basically DOA I don't pay too much attention the the old gals' sales figures.

FRANKFURT: 2008 Suzuki Splash
I don't think it's too bad. CHEVY SPLASH does have a nice ring to it but those big headlights make it look more like a Saturn.

Dodge Caliber SRT4...Unmasked?
I really like the Caliber. Would definitely be on my list if I were in the market for a new car.

Chrysler Group sales up 2%
The Chrysler Group sold 193,104 vehicles last month compared to 190,095 in April 2006. Sales were helped by a 29% increase in sales of Jeep brand products in April compared to April 2006 and a 10% increase in the sale of minivans compared to the same month last year. Sales of Dodge Rams also held steady, gaining 2%. "Chrysler Group increased sales in April based on a solid retail performance -- despite two less selling days than in the previous year and a challenging market environment," Steven Landry, executive vice president of NAFTA sales, global marketing, service and parts, said in a statement. "Driven by the continuously strong Jeep Wrangler and the new Jeep Patriot, sales for the Jeep brand were up significantly by 29 percent." Mercedes-Benz U.S. sales dipped 8% in April compared to April 2006, though the company said the past month was its second best April on record, selling 20,895 vehicles. http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article...501038/0/NEWS07

Jan. 2007 Sales: Chrysler Group
Town&Country and Caravan should be up, GM and FoMoCo have abandoned that segment. Anyone think Chrysler Group could be in better shape than Ford?

GM and Ford Rumored Alliance
I agree. The 2 companies could do a lot to help each other without merging.
