You're forgetting it was the 70's you have to be High when you watch these! Then it will all make sense! Stoners rule! Don't feel bad about 70's rock, I've aquired a taste for it, my parents use to drag me to rock concerts in the Mid-Atlantic area. My 1st concert with them was in 1979 when I was 10 years old in Philadelphia at the old JFK Stadium. I still remember the groups that played this 12 hour concert, Yes, Gary Wright and Peter Frampton, oh yes and the Mummers who the crowd threw garbage at. So yeah I feel your pain! Here is Yes playing at that concert, I'm in the crowd somewhere, with my parents. The concert was 12 noon to 12 midnight. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBXKSmz-Z2k
  7. The side vents are FUGLY! Looks way smaller than the current Vue too! I hope the next Nox and Torrent replacements don't look like that! There is something very Vibe-ish about it.

  16. May 10, 2007 - In an outbreak reminiscent of the early stages of SARS and bird flu, pigs are growing sick and dying across China’s southeastern Guangdong province. Roughly 3,000 pigs have been infected on hundreds of family farms and about 300 have died. Early reports from Chinese scientists attribute the outbreak to porcine respiratory and reproductive syndrome (PRRS), which first appeared 18 years ago and was originally called Mystery Swine Disease. But certain symptoms of the current outbreak, including massive hemorrhaging, are not consistent with PRRS, and might indicate that the disease—most likely caused by a virus—has mutated. The outbreak has renewed fears that a viral pandemic is in the making in southern China. Link: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18597469/site/newsweek/
  17. I don't know about Italian law. I have dual citizenship under the German law, since I was born there and my mother is German. The US didn't normally recognize dual citizenship at the time I turned 18, but my cousin at the time worked for a very powerful US Senator and my dual citizenship was attached as a rider on a bill that became law, funny thing is my rider had nothing to do with the bill itself that was voted on. So I carry both EU and US now.
  18. Shortly after Castro took over in 1959, the U.S. slapped a trade embargo on Cuba. That means the country has imported few cars in the past five decades. But ever-resourceful Cubans have managed to keep the same vehicles on the streets since the 1950s, making the country the world's biggest open-air car museum. I know a Pontiac when I see one!
