'07 Escalade Exposed
Some dental floss would help, too. You might need a paint cleanser to remove the adhesive residue. (I debadged our Passat)

What does a lawnmower have over an '06 3er?
Short of sending a sample to a lab, how do you check the oil without sensors anyway? In my experience, Mobil 1 synthetic turns dark in no time at all.

The SAE power ratings.
All manufacturers are required to use the new SAE ratings for new or redesigned engines. I believe Honda and Toyota are the only manufacturers that use the new ratings for all their engines, new or old.

Good names, bad cars
Mazda Millenia Millenium Edition in Millenium Red... thankfully, the Mazda Mazda6 Mazdaspeed6 has an equally cool name, but it's for a better car.

....
If so, I'm expecting V8-like fuel consumption. The current Malibu with the 3.9 gets fewer miles to the gallon than a ~3900 lb. Equinox AWD.

2006 Toytoa Rav4 debut
I don't mind the exterior... it's inoffensive, fairly unique, and identifiable as a Toyota. Some parts of the interior reek of cheapness and parts-bin raiding, though. The center armrest looks generic, and the gear lever/shifter maze looks like something out of a Hyundai. With all the resources they had, I expected better from Toyota.

IIHS Crashes A3, Passat, Legacy, 500
A3 Side: Good + Best Pick Front: Good + Best Pick Passat Side: Good + Best Pick Front: Good + Best Pick Legacy Side: Good + Best Pick Front: Good + Best Pick 500 (with optional curtain bags) Side: Good Front: Good + Best Pick http://www.iihs.org/news/2005/pr110205.html AUDI, FORD, SUBARU, AND VW CARS EARN GOOD RATINGS IN BOTH FRONT AND SIDE CRASH TESTS I'm impressed by Subaru's decision to improve the Legacy's safety just a year after its redesign. And it seems VW/Audi are leading with regard to safety, since IIHS's side test didn't even exist during the development of their cars... the A3, A4, A6, Jetta, and Passat all received Best Picks for the new side crash. The majority of vehicles tested (side crash) still receive a "Poor" rating.

Rural or Urban?
What he said. NYC is fine for a few weeks, but after that, it gets expensive.

2007 Escalade Online Ordering Guide
The current Escalade comes with either the 5.3 or 6.0. But, yes, one engine choice is fine.

Grand Cherokee Srt-8 Msrp Set At $39,995!
DAMN that's cheap. How much is Chevy asking for the SS Trailblazer?

The Straight Story On The G6 'Vert From C&G
Hope the G6 'vert comes with some updates and refinements... I still don't think people will spend $30K on a car just for its roof. As far as the new Pontiac, could it be a Lambda?
-
Should Buick get a convertible?
As far as interior space, the 9-3's and G6's are actually very similar despite the wheelbase differences, because the 2-piece metal folding roof takes up a lot more space.

G6 Convertible Canned?
The one at the LA autoshow had an actual top in the trunk, but it broke down during the show.

2005 Holden Tigra
Hey, it's better than the Micra C+C...

Any Buicks at SEMA?
I can't see why they couldn't give a LaCrosse a mesh grille, drug dealer wheels, brushed aluminum exterior trim, and a lowered suspension.

Car and Driver -- Solstice V. MX-5
I think so, too... the MX-5 is better at being an MX-5 than the Solstice. It fits the definition of a proper, pure roadster better than the Solstice, which is more of a hard-core sports car with a tame engine. Once the GXP comes out, I have a feeling it'll give Z4s and SLKs a serious run for the money, let alone a MX-5.

Sport Concept Civic Si
Looks ice-cool to me... me likes.

SEMA: Mitsubishi Street Raider
Ooh, that's pretty nice for a truck.

TOYOTA=LIARS
You should work for the Enquirer..

G6 Convertible Canned?
Yeah, I've noticed that, too. It's very possible considering GM has encountered some engineering difficulties with the roof, and that it faces some very serious competition. Perhaps they've concluded that few people are willing to spend ~$30K for a front-drive, pushrod-powered, cheaply-finished car, regardless of top, instead of a RWD V8 Mustang convertible or even GTO.

2007 Corolla Interior spy pics
Kinda generic Asian sporty looking... the Civic's is more original.

The Perfect Pizza
Last time we went to NY, we ate at Lombardi's... the pizza there was delicious there, too. It wasn't a thin crust pizza, but I loved it nevertheless.

Car and Driver -- Solstice V. MX-5
They also had a C6 Z06 v. Viper SRT-10 coupe comparo, and the Vette won.

Food People Don't Like But You LOVE
Nothing... just other foods that popped into my mind. Viet-style egg rolls (wrapped in lettuce) is great as well.
