First Look: 2008 Chrysler 300
I was gonna play the LEGO card for the interior but Ford does LEGO better on its trucks. This is more like knockoff Mega-blocks.

My 2008 Accord Impressions
Personally, sans the lights, I think it's front end is segment-leading. Care to explain Camino? I saw one at a stoplight and took a long hard look, and as far as exteriors go, I think the Accord is good enough. Better than Camry, at least. The Accord has nothing to prove to anybody but Toyota. The rest are vying for #3.

Butchered pronunciation of city names
Every town in Maryland is said just like it's spelled, cuz no other languages or accents really affect Marylanders. Only town near me that people could get wrong is Glen Burnie... I've never heard of another town called that. My friend from New Mexico called it Glen Brunei (Broo Ny) like the country and I died laughing at him.

Do you LIKE the new Enclave?
I like it. they should just cut off say 6-8 inches in height and make a gorgeous sedan of that caliber.

New Saturn Astra Images
The more I look at this, the more it looks like a Cobalt. How very exciting. (sarcasm) The 3-door is a good hot hatch, but for the five door, I'll take a Mazdaspeed3 please. The five door doesn't excite at all, and thats what picks up the sales in this segment.

What's in a name?
When naming crossovers, I think that these automakers need a BIT more imagination. For example: Mazda cX7 Mazda cX9 BMW X3 BMW X5 Acura MDX Acura RDX Saab 9-4X Saab 9-7X Cadillac BRX Nissan X-Terra (started it?) Cadillac SRX Lincoln MKX Chevy equinoX (bit of a stretch) Volvo XC90 Volvo XC70 Volvo XC60 Suzuki XL7 Suzuki SX4 Infiniti QX Lexus RX Lexus LX Lexus GX Cheers to Audi for thier Q-line instead of the X-humping, and Mercedes for not even having an acronym for thier SUVs. Not to mention the domestics for all staying out of the "X" game aside from the lux-marques. Especially Chrysler, which has no faux X's. Anyone wanna play the numbers game? If you can name all the Audis, BMWs, Mazdas, and Volvos by numerical classification, you are a very depraved person indeed. Can anyone add to my list?

10 Odd Car names
What about Cobalt, Impala, Escort, LaCrosse, Lancer, and Tribeca? What do a shade of blue, a deer, a prostitute, a weird sport, a surgical instrument of a part of manhattan have to do with anything?

CONCEPT: BMW X6 & X6 Hybrid
But how many of those were produced? And don't say Aztek. That BARELY counts.

2008 Lamborghini Reventón
That interior is a joke. I understand the 'driver's car' stuff, but the Ferraris and Maseratis are MILES ahead of this thing. Quality is good, but its a joke. I want a gorgeous interior if I'm paying that much. Forget the performance.

CONCEPT: BMW X6 & X6 Hybrid
It looks like the Audi Cross Coupe Quattro Concept... It's ugly as sin, but at least it's something different.

2008 Lamborghini Reventón
That interior is a joke, but sadly it outclasses the Vette. THATS SAD! But that is so gorgeous in so many ways.

CONCEPT: Volkswagen up!
Ugh. How ugly. Looks like a Rabbit and a Fiat 500 had an ugly love-child. They should just do the Next Beetle like this, with a rear engine. It would tie in with the heritage of the original and offer something the Mini doesn't have.

FIRST GLIMPSE! 2009 Chevrolet Traverse
Anybody catch a cheap CRV-type vibe? maybe this could be the sportiest of the group, without roof rack, as pictured and such. That would differentiate it. But it is hard to make a two ton CUV sporty.

Pontiac G6 GXP Street Package
The large grille makes the wheels look small. If the wheels and taillamps were as comically large as the grille and headlights, and the wheels were of any quality, this would work. If Pontiac was going for big, butch, and ignorant looking, they should've went the whole nine yards. Actually, a nice bulge over the rear wheels would do this design some justice. Also, why no pics of the black one?

One final questions for the night
Volt. It's like 10 steps ahead of the band-aid hybrids from Japan and the lackluster ones GM builds. It'll show those inbred media people that an American car can kick ass, take names and not kill the Earth. nuff said.

What is missing from the market?
The most unused niche.... Small Cheap Efficient FLYING CARS! I'm telling you, that's what Isuzu is working on, and why they haven't had product for years.

Styling trends you hate
I hate frogginess... Pouty grilles Droopy Headlights Slab Sides Extremely wide look on a average height car Six side windows Green Protruding fender flares Wheels pushed to the extreme outside. See Mini Cooper, Camry, Altima, or Taurus 500. Especially Altima... UGLY. no alibi.

What WILL be missing from the market soon
Its so hard to predict. Crytal-balling isn't my forte. But BOF SUVs are out. Crossovers are in. More specifically RWD in CUV's will dwindle, too b/c of interior space concerns. But the market for Explorers and such will stay alive through the everlasting need for RWD BOF pickups. Good topic, dude.

The Stream is coming
OMG... that thing is PURE SEX It's nice, but Journey has a problem. I wish the grille was more Accord-ish.

A thought I had about Cadillac
Arguably, Cadillac started this new, more edgy styling on the Escalade, the true top dog at that division. For lack of a true S or 7 competitor, they put the edgier grille on the Escalade first. I think it's dumb and very 'Detroit' of them to start thier styling on a truck. Should we consider Escalade Cadillac's flagship? It certainly is the biggest and most expensive of the non V or XLR Cadillacs. And it's Cadillac's highest profile model and it's IT car of this century. It also signifies what Cadillac and GM for that matter can do right. I think that makes it the flagship.

Saturn Sky Flying High, Pontiac Solstice Flagging?
I'm sorry, you named some ugly cars... Especially later in thier lives. Pontiac's styling has been on a downward spiral. And the Solstice is the best looking of Pontiacs. I was saying that to describe how ugly they are in general.
