  4. That's funny stuff right there, I don't care who you are! :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: I hate those bitches who feel that important to IM when driving. I think you did the right thing. He should NOT be driving and IMing at the same time.
  5. So this how the ghost which tried to haunt the quarters of looks like!!
  6. I think I second that. Rationally speaking, I think Silvy has a good chance. Credit should be given to GM to build this truck full 13 months ahead of schedule, when the SOP Tundra and for that matter Toy-boy-ta is pushing it back. It is a very good truck and I think it has an impeccable interior and quality. About the Aura it is there but not really there, may be the 2008 Bu will. I am surprised it did not make it when it already is the most significant vehicle from crapmunds, Crapper's Reviews, and other "Important" publications.
  7. They only put 235's on it? Those are skinny ass tires for it. It should have had a 255.
  8. I like this machine. I wished it would have come sooner though. It may put the CRAP 4 to dust. I also like the interior and HEY it is 6-speed. Wished it would come in 6-speed stick.
  9. GMT 800's went out of production in late August I think. The only one which may have been still produced were the heavy duty diesels.

The only think which will fit all these bills is 50th anniversary Z06. 1. Most of these are owned by old guys (possibly retired military officers) who know the $h! of them and in very pristine condition. 2. They have low miles, check autotrader most of them hardly go over 25k. 3. Hell yes it will be a collectible. 50th anniversary that too of a Vette does not come every year, well it will come NEVER. Infact I am planning to buy one next year. You can get a 2003 Z06 for less than $33K, I will buy the extended warranty if I was you which is about $1700 (which I checked at AA Autowarranty). Plus my friend has a 2002 which actually gets him 29 mpg on the highway when he sets the cruise at 70 mph. You absolutely cannot go wrong with it.
  19. The fourth one kinda reminds me of those CAT diesel engines we have on the earth moving equipments.
  20. Caddy. Better quality and trust me you will love that 3.6L. Besides that someone else has already taken the depreciation for you without driving too much. So it is more investment for you than your other choices. Go for it.

I think it is a good article. What I think GM and Ford should follow is ambush marketing. It does not make sense to turn a Nelson's eye on the aggressive marketing from Toy-boy-ta; the latest being their farts about the twice failed Tundra. The only way to change perceptions among the people is to have initiative. I almost lamented the fact that none of GM's cars went down in HP ratings when SAE standards were applied, yet people new nothing about it and the fact Japanese increased their estimates. This should have been on the first page ads. GM hardly educates people about how good their Buicks and Caddy's are when it comes to quality. GM is now coming about the fuel economy of their trucks, telling people they are the best. I had an arguement with an import humper lady-dog who was saying GM trucks sucked in fuel economy. I showed her all the data and proved her wrong. (She is more than twice old as I am) There is another import humper MILF who buys nothing but Hondas. There is another fellow who says he will never buy domestics. Why? Because 20 YEARS AGO, his sister had a disappointing Buick. Yet he has driven four times, 300 miles to Atlanta to fix his Lexus LS430 for "Courtesy Service." Part of the reason Hyundai has sales of Sonata is because of their direct MENTIONING of Crapry in their ads. It just seems like GM and FORD have past egos to not to mention their competitors by name and tell how better they are. Time is certainly not by GM and Ford's side. Almost a generation has passed since they have started building good, passionate cars again. I think they should rather concentrate on younger buyers and hope them pressurize their parents buying new cars. But it is never too late to mend and aggressive marketing push is the only way GM and Ford can come back.
