  1. Best. Concept. Ever. You have to love the true jet-age styling, but the inside was even better. The steering column was cantalievered and ran through the center of the dash, giving the driver more legroom.
  2. 1982 GM Aero 2000.
  3. Antares. Its surprising how much of this concept was carried through to the pre-pro concept and later production Aurora, especially in the mid-90s. The almost-production concept Aurora had a split lower fascia a la Intrigue, more wood trim, embedded Guidestar satellite navigation with a simpler controller that is surprisingly like iDrive but a decade before, and an all-glass roof.

Yeah, we know you love your Colorado, but...man...get a garage.
  5. Picture #2: And another hint: It was powered by a Ford V8 and was the only one made. One would think so seeing as it took seven years to build.
  6. As Satty alluded to, this was done because a few people did complain about how relevant stories went unnoticed due to the sheer volume of Other Guys news. However, this is up to everyone at large. Vote now and the majority wins.

They're also hermaphrodites, so if you told them to go f*ck themselves, they can.
  8. Hint #1: This car had automatic climate control.
  9. That's it? I was expecting something like, "What's long, hard, and hit a rock?"
  10. Flybrian replied to Satty's topic in The Lounge
They're nice, but five-spokes are pretty cliche now. Rub off the crossed flags and they could be Anycar rims.
  11. I meant to post this awhile back but just never got around to it. Be sure to ask for Genuine General Dynamics parts!
  12. I've always interpreted it as 'SSE Improved' since I've seen that designation used by the US Navy for its thrid flight of Los Angeles-class attack subs (688i).
  13. Exactly, Hyper. I would venture to say the turnover rate for convertibles and especially roadsters is far lower than a standard automobile. The appeal is in the open top, not necessarily the latest and greatest features. By limiting sales of their cars, Mazda and GM are ensuring that demand will always be a requisite amount higher than supply, a good thing with a niche vehicle.
  14. Hail cannons fall is a bit like cloud seeding in that it certainly pans out in theory but not so much in practice. Hail can also be very sporadic and localized, so the claim that it didn't hail on Nissan grounds could be true but not accurate as per this scenario.

    "06 Malibu sedan. Red.
  16. Will post my review tonight! Sorry about the delay...classes starting and all :)

Nine posts with none constructive. You don't like it here? Leave. It can be easily facilitated. And take your mood swings and PMS with you.
  19. They can open with 'Satisfaction' to describe MB owners' experiences.
  20. Metro Storm Prizm Tracker Yup.
  21. Trailblazer vs. Blazer. That's a weird one to look back on. My car (Aurora) is 2/5" shorter than an Expedition (205.4 vs. 205.8) and only less than a foot shorter than some classic boats ('58 Cadillac - 216.8").
  22. LaCrosse Lucerne Rendezvous Its sadly possible.
  23. Oh, get real. The Aztek must've been designed in Toulouse then with all its plastic trim. I saw a new Rio on a dealer stand today and God does it look cheap with its rubber molding. At least the last one looked cute.
  24. Flybrian replied to Tailfin61's topic in Buick
That's sad that Buick 'needs' a compact Theta. Whatever...
  25. SE, GT, GTP, GXP is the most logical trimline for Pontiac. If anyone asks, say "Sport Edition, Gran Touring, Gran Touring Performance, GXP...'cause it sounds cool." And though I love the Bonneville, the SE/SLE/SSE/SSEi lost its meaning in 2000 when there was no SSE trim. You can't 'improve' on something that doesn't exist.
