  1. 91z4me, that's what I was thinking it may be, too. I'll have to check it out more closely. As I said, I was in a hurry and just ignored it. Mach5GTP, once again, I'll have to see. As far as I know, it's doing it when the car is stopped and the wheels are straight. I can't really test to see if it stops when the car isn't stopped as I can't hear from inside. So, it isn't brake pads. Also, thanks for the advice about the hard starting. Matt276, in the month that I've been driving it, no. :P Since I got it back in December, no. It's been getting worked on and basically just sitting until this past month or so. IDK... I'll have to check it out, once again. I've been thinking about getting some top-of-the-line spark plugs anyways... But, thanks for all the advice, guys. I'm not very keen about this kind of stuff.
  2. Did I say that? About my parents, yes. You, no. I don't know much about your work life other than that you never went through college. From the sounds of it, you're doing pretty good for not doing so. My parents are stuck making about $30,000 a year combined... I don't want to end up like them. That's why I believe going to college is the only way to have a decent life. It almost garantees it. Which brings me to the "Cioncidence maybe?" comment that probably confused you. I meant about college beliefs and blue collar-white collar beliefs. That's it and if I have once again get your beliefs wrong, I'm sorry. I'm going off memory and implication. That's the situation here in Brookville. I think, but I'm not sure, teachers here generally get paid around $25,000-$35,000.
  3. Well... If it were in PA, I'd consider it. But speaking of which, I'm going to a Pontiac Grand Am meet in Allentown on the weekend of Sept. 24th. I had a thread about it... Anyways, activities include a mini car show, a BBQ, a cruise, and hanging out and drinking for the night. Everybody will be staying at a hotel (or in their car, like me, if they can't afford it :D ). Still, I'm not liking gas prices. That's the main reason why I've decided to sleep in my GA. Also will probably prevent me from drinking. Atleast they're coming down... It's back below $3 here, thankfully.
  4. It is... Anyways, I'm not even sure what I'm looking for here, but I'm just wondering about a few things. The first of which is that it is starting to take longer for it to start. Before, I would turn the key and it would start up without a problem. Now, though, it takes longer and when it does start, it feels as if it doesn't want to run. A few seconds after that, it will finally run fine. Secondly, I noticed it is making a noise. Don't know how long its been making it as its unnoticably from inside. But, it's like a... screeching noise... IDK how to explain it. It sounds like it's coming from the right front area. I didn't look under the hood yet as I was in a hurry at the time. I think it may have been caused from using the brake while starting it since my parking brake doesn't work. I've stopped doing that, but I could tell that I wasn't supposed to be doing that by the way it sounded and felt. And incase you don't know... The engine is the 2.3L Quad4 mated to a 5spd. The headgasket has a minor leak and it ticks (still nobody can figure out why...). The check oil light is always on as is the ABS light. I don't know if any of that has to do with those problems... Any advice or scoldings would be appreciated. :D
  5. Looks pretty good... except for the BMW X5-ish rear.
  6. Yeah... I think Pontiac's website is still using 2004 GP pics. So do base this kind of stuff off of those pics. See the vehicles in person... as I did. Also, Josh, would 06 Silverados have the GM badge? Because there's a whole shipment of them sitting at my dealer without them. And they were definitely 06s unless the dealer put the wrong spec sheets on them all... I'll have to check again just to be sure, though. My memory sucks... :P
  7. Harley, that's not a Vue... It's an Axiom.
  8. You bastard. :P
  9. ...Yeah, I would call that an attack on Chief. As for your response to my post... Well, you tried and that is what matters. Seems like you just regurgitated the same crap... but it was an effort, none-the-less. Another thing, though, I know what you meant by your last statement. My parents work, and work hard, but still don't make what teachers make. However, they never put an effort into a career. They never went to college and it shows when they get paid. Their poor because of their choices; meaning I'm poor and I don't like it. As for teaching... alot of effort is needed to do it. I know because I have an aunt who is. Guess what? She goes through what Chief goes through. She also put her life into teaching. Something my parents never did for anything. With that said, teachers are underpaid. She knows it, I know it, Chief knows it. My parents don't think so and neither do you. Cioncidence maybe?
  10. Really... I've seen 06 Colorados and they have the badge. Hell, I even have a pic of it... Doesn't show much, but it's an 06 Colorado.
  11. I want to witness a Tornado. Always have. I think it would be cool to see... I'm fascinated with them. I sometimes wish one would go through my house... Yes, I'm wierd. Way back in... 74? 76?... I forget, but one about a mile wide hit my Grandpa's, and my mom's former, house. I love hearing the story... and seeing the pics...
  12. Yeah... I wear what I like, not what other people like. This is what I like: [img] And not just flames... Those are just the only pics I could find.
  13. Definitely!
  14. Yeah... That's one of the biggest things I like about C&G.
  15. IDK if I'll enter... I'm still a bit devastated after losing to Nos's color change. :D
  16. The Patriot looks good... I love it. The Compass... try again, Jeep.
  17. It's ugly, but alot better looking than the Durango.
  18. Cory Wolfe replied to regfootball's topic in Mercedes-Benz
I like Smarts... Something about them intrigue me. They're just so... small, but that's why they're cool. I like small... They're kind of like a mix between an ATV and a car. That would be awesome... :D
  19. Sorry... I'm going to have to go with the Civic. It looks less ricey and ungainly outside. The interior sucks... but I have a GA, so I can't really complain much. I'm sure the build quality is better too... Not sure about driving dynamics as I haven't driven either, obviously.
  20. This is great that the Pursuit isn't coming here... But there better be a compact coming. I don't want a Vibe either... A coupe. FWD or RWD... It doesn't matter, but Pontiac needs it and it has to be sporty and pack a punch. Otherwise, that new Honda Civic Si is looking pretty good to me....
  21. Then explain how a Chevy Malibu and a Chevy Blazer are Pontiacs... :P And for your information, the brakes that work on my GA work nicely. :D
  22. Oh no... Just don't post them, okay Nos? :P Now hurry up and take those damn pics! :D
  23. I saw my first H3... A guy that lives up the road from my grandparents replaced one of his H2s with it. I think it was American flag one... Yes, the entire thing was stars and stripes. Thank god he got rid of it... I also saw my first DTS. Better looking than the Deville, but that's not saying much, IMO. Finally, for LA, I saw a nice 96-98 GAGT. It was black and had a custom exhaust that sounded totally sweet. It also had dark tinted windows, front and rear blacked-out lights, and some nice aftermarket black rims that looked excellent on it. The entire thing was evil-looking... Just my style. I saw another GA, too. It was one like mine, but an SE in a purple/flat black/rust paint scheme with 4 different wheels, one being like mine. It also had red-taped taillights...
  24. at all. Don't forget to blast some loud music... and forget how to shut it off. Seriously though, just be smooth and alert. Also, make sure your car is in top running order. You don't want the brakes to fail like they did with me... Wait, your not taking it in a GM vehicle, are you? Won't happen then...
  25. I love hatchbacks almost as much as coupes, but the only one I like that you posted is the VW. The Cleo? Ugh...
