I think they did a decent job for a mid cycle refresh on a car that isn't exactly a stellar performer, sales wise. It's to be hoped that the next generation (if there is one, and I hope there is) will continue the level of improvement shown in the new CTS

I'm sad to read that this is where the relationship went for you O.C.- you certainly deserve better. But don't let it sour you on relationships in general. I'm sure there's someone out there for you. The bizarre part is that it's just the secretive part that raises a red flag. There's nothing odd about showering and putting on cologne to visit a friend. I do it all the time. I suppose it's not so odd that this friend is such a new friend that he would need to use the nav system to find the address; one wonders that he wouldn't have used Google maps if there was a secret that needed to be kept about this friend. Innocent or stupid? I don't know. In some ways he might be using you as a convenient way to start a new life in SoCal- hell if you offered me free room and board and sex on the side I'd relocate to the county too and take Metrolink to work. but at least I'd be up front about it... There's a USB eithernet adapter available for $25 from Apple and the USB Superdrive is $99 if you need it. Even my stick-in-the-mud company has wireless now, they just change the password weekly. My big thing is the battery. I don't want to have to send my computer off to Apple to replace it. I think that's a design mistake that may conspire to make this one the new Mac Cube.

Yes, that kills it for me too. Don't know what they were thinking with that idea.. It's a sexy computer but It's also kind of a MacBook with a nicer screen and Anorexia.

The writer is pushing an agenda. As a left-wing democrat I am appalled at how little this government cares about one of our largest and last home-grown industries. If there is government "welfare" being handed it's being given to foreign car manufacturers, who are allowed to buy land here and build cars out of foreign-made parts, paying less in taxes and employee costs than the American companies that have been here for generations, while keeping their home turf off limits to fair competition and keeping their currency artificially low to keep their products salable here. Oh, the government let GM have a few acres of scrub; boo freaking hoo.
