  1. This means nothing to me. First year sales of a product can be higher because the public tends to like what is newest on the market, and perceived the best. Sales will fall off with each continuous year as the public loses interest.
  2. I was looking around at dealers for 08s the other day and came across the new 08 CTS. I took a picture of it with my cell phone, but have no way of getting it to the computer. I will keep it on my phone til I get to WM and get something to transfer it. First impressions, beautifully styled and small panel gaps. The seats are muy comfortable. The interior was beautiful with all the panels lining up and the soft touch dash. I liked how it was laid out. The car I sat in listed for a tick over $40K. It did not have the DI 3.6 and had the base wheel design. I really like the new grille. My favorite design cue is the rear flanks of the fenders and bulge out to the back wheels. It gives the car a very muscular look. I thought I would share the experience, and the pic is coming soon.
  3. I agree with 'blu. The wheels look very small. There is alot of gap there. I think the interior has taken a few steps up in perceived quality with the nicer materials, especially around the gearshift. I am sure they are still hard to the touch though.
  4. ===================================================================From what I read, Chrysler is getting a version of this but I am not sure of the name.

  6. I see I have some competition here. Hmmmm.
  7. I just read the press release and this thing has just about everything. I respect Chrysler because their engineers have created some very innovative ways of creating places for seating and other storage areas. The Stow & Go Minivans are brilliant and any family with two or more kids should seriously consider one. The Ram Mega Cab has very interesting cubby holes and storages areas behind and under the back seat, and now the Journey continues this packaging brilliance. I am not sure if this is a crossover or a mini-minivan, but it should do well for small families who need alot of versatility.
  8. PCS, just curious but are you employed with Cerberus? That company seems to be all about restructuring and realigning and removed brands and companies. If you don't work for them, maybe you should consider it?

    6000 STE AWD anyone?
  10. Camino, I think it will be a race between you and me to see who has the first one. I dont think you'll be able to wait without some major hypnosis.
  11. Its. . .um. . interesting. Does this replace the short wheel base Caravan? It looks like a mini-Grand Caravan.

  18. Easy one. Cold. You can put more clothes on than you can take off. Easier to sleep when its cold, just pile on the blankets and snuggle up to someone sexy (or ugly depending on how much you've drank).
  19. Best thing to do is get the license number, and put it in the hands of the police, or since you couldn't get in your car, you should have waited for them with a cop and had him take care of it with you guys there.
  20. Some things should be kept to one's self. How mean to show that off!

For those who are not car people, and are on a budget and cannot afford two vehicles, the crossover is a perfect compromise. As a car guy, I would only buy two cross overs, the SRX sport and the Enclave SLT. Like Camino, I have been driving trucks since I was a teenager, and am used to the handling. The newest trucks handle far better than cars from the 70's, 80's, and early 90's used to handle. I like having a car around as well for times when I want to tear up a winding road to just go for a long drive.
  22. I couldnt see the other set of pipes on the other side of the Sport. From that view, there only appears to be one. I can tell the difference between the LT and the Sport model.
  23. The Sport is beggin for dual pipes out the back. It just doesnt flow with the intakes on each side in front, and only one out back. The first 'Nox looks like a rental queen.
  24. ================================================================================Exactly, and don't forget the "Pale Iris" that they had on their minivans. Ick!
