blu, I have an unopened 08 Corvette brochure. PM me and we'll talk.
  2. Thanks everyone on the well wishes. Drugs (Heroin in this case) change people. My children lost their mother and I lost a very good friend to drugs years ago when she chose her heroin addiction over them. Despite the distance and lack of communication, it's still shocking. We have each other. It'll just take time to get past this rough spot. This is the third rough spot, and they say things come in 3's. Cheers guys, and thanks for the support. This has been a great thread.

And that slippery slope is caused the residue from all that soap that is dropped in public showers.
  6. This posts hits home for me. I had a deeply intimate emotional relationship with a woman in my teens and early 20s. Being young, I thought that this was being "in love". We dated and had a sexual relationship, and once I met my former partner, I told her I was gay and she was surprisingly accepting of it and remained in my life until I removed her from it because of her recent drug problem. She was the mother of my two children. I missed the woman that she used to be before drugs took that person away from everyone who loved her. She died last week because of her drug use. As for some of the posts, it shows that some straight folks still separate themselves from gay folks, and it's sad to see since we're all part of the same community. It really doesn't matter who are programmed to fall in love with. The fact that some are closed to deeply intimate friendships with someone of the same sex doesn't make you gay. It makes you human. Camino, I like what you said about the lady who said that people are simply sexual. She sounds like a wonderful woman. O.C., I can probably get kicked out of the "bear" culture for saying this, but I am with you on hairy backs. I like the hairy chest, stomach, legs, arms, and furry faces, but I wax the hair that has been growing in on my back and shoulders. I used to just pluck out what I could.
  7. They aren't promoting anything. The whole idea of a concept is showing what can be done when productions costs and safety regulations are not an issue.

Great answer, but thats not true for all republicans. There are smart ones out there somewhere. My answer to thread: uptight
  9. No, this is dedicated to the outgoing W-body Grand Prix. Don't let the door hit ya on the spoiler on the way out.
  10. 69 to 71 is definitely my favorite too!
  11. +1 Moltar. The Grand Prix used to be one hell of a car, but GM ruined it, with the last generation being the worst.

Thinking outside the box is good Oldsmoboi, shows your brain is working unlike some who's brains still can't accept front wheel drive and V-6 engines. I think a V-4 or VR-4 could work, especially if they can work out the NVH problems and strap on a turbo or two with an intercooler. I still think that the I-4 is more efficient and a smaller one could make some good horsepower and good mileage with a turbo on it. A boxer engine would be good as well if they can get the NVH under control.
  16. The stance is much improved DodgeFan.
  17. Congratulations, in just six posts you've managed to post the dumbest response I've ever seen on C&G. The volume market is the market that buys all the cars that pay for the niche products that I believe Camino believes are "better". Its a vernacular term between buyers so what is better to him (and me and others) may not be better to another type of enthusiast. GM needs to give the volume customer base extraordinary vehicles that exceed expectations in every sense of the automotive ownership. What cars that enthusiasts like Camino think are boring, are cars that other people will want to own because of styling, price, fuel economy, utility, etc. etc. etc. Kicking down the volume customer is like biting the hand th feeds us because its their money that goes into the development of performance models that enthusiasts like us drool over.
  18. Happy Birthday Turbo! I hope you have a great day.

  20. I really like that color, too. It's perfect for showing off the lines of the A&S II design (or whatever they're calling it now).
  21. It shows you spent alot of time on it. The GT-R inspired roof is kinda cool I think, but in a sedan it would rob rear seat passenger of headroom, important for this class of car, but I love the stance, the front styling, and the wheels go perfect. I would love to see this thing in black or a gold color. Keep up the good work.
  22. People would be pissed going to the Ford dealer expecting a Euro Focus and ending up getting the aged North American model.
  23. What's in Big Mo? I've not heard of it before.
  24. Great work Dodgefan! I really like the stance on it, and great choice on the red color. It really brings out the lines of the BRX.
