Those of you who have shedding problems should try an undercoat brush called the "furminator". I got mine at PetCo. It costs $50 USD, and it guarantees to cut your shedding by 90%. The first time I used this thing on my Newfie, I got a plastic bag full of hair off of him. I mean it was packed in the bag. I got equal amounts off the Berner and the Bernard. Since I use it once a week, its cut the shedding in my house down 95%. I went from vacuuming 4 times a week to vacuuming once a week. There's no longer hair all over the floor.
