First of all, this isn't a retraction in the traditional sense. It's not like he found out the story was false and pulled it. GM asked him to pull it. No where has he said that the story was pulled because it was false. And BTW "Shelved" doesn't exactly mean cancelled. When I hear shelved I think put on hold.

These guys really need me to do their concept speculation drawings for them. I have some input on the next Malibu from sort of an insider point-of-view. My current Vis-Comm Instructor at school is the fellow who designed the next Malibu. I have seen his sketches of other cars he did (the G6 concept and a Corvette based Pontiac that went up against the Solstice) and I have listened to what he has said and that drawing is nowhere close to what it will look like.

The problem with them using the Aura wheels is that every Lambo I have ever seen has some sort of multi-circle pattern wheel design. If the chopper were paying attention to detail, he or she would have caught that.

The guys are comparing the Solstice to a very nicely proportioned woman. 36" bust, 24" waist, 36" hips.

I ran a 12 lap race in ARCA's 4 cylinder series on Toledo Speedway's 1/8 mile track and when I was done I was pretty much whipped. I have alot of respect for the guys that can muscle a car around 1/2 mile Bristol for 500 laps. You really have no idea. Oh and how many non-white drivers are there in those series you mentioned?
