  1. Wow, that's the exact opposite of how I feel. I sold my 96Z a year ago October and I don't think that I could have missed it any more than I did this past year. I had two 2nd Gens prior to the vert and my allegiance is to the ragtop.Bring on the convertible and I'll be first on line!
  2. Everyone knows that time travel is initiated at 88mph! Unless they're not using a flux capacitor and opted for cheaper technology, which might require the higher speed.
  3. I thought that the Vibe/Matrix partnership was over?

Why's the poor Aztek have to take a shot everytime ugly comes up? My 2002 just hit 85K miles and besides being one of the most functional vehicles I've ever owned, it's also been one of the most reliable. So what if it looks a little funny from the rear doors back... :-p
  5. Same here. I missed the voting on this one but I could definately see this one on the road...
  6. vinz96z replied to ToniCipriani's topic in BMW
That was exactly what I thought. I've been seeing more and more of the R class on the road too. Still a little odd looking though...
  7. I agree. It's very distracting...
  8. I seemed to have missed this post. Can someone post a link or has it been pulled?
  9. This is a sweet looking car. If it wasn't for my drooling for the new Camaro, I'd actually consider this. As for the General waiting until 2009-2010, I can't believe they'll wait that long. IMHO, having a car out in time for its 40th anniversary sounds too appealing and allowing for Mustang to "own" the market for the next few years just doesn't make sense...
  10. I would pray for the C&GU one, as this one is hideous!
  11. No, I don't have a problem with it either. While I see some hints of the 9-3 and Malibu, none of them are things that I fon't like...

Great post on two points Harley: The obvious picture and the Seinfeld reference!

Maybe I missed it in yesterday's thread, but where are people seeing these? The pumps at the gas station look like they're in the US, no? BTW, stop picking on my Aztek's rear-end!
  14. vinz96z replied to HarleyEarl's topic in Alfa Romeo
Funny thing about the Alfa's is that the new models will be sitting on a platform deveolped jointly with GM. GM jumped ship at the last minute, saying it was too expensive for them to use. If I'm not mistaken, it was part of the whole FIAT fiasco. Alfa has plans for a few models on the platform and is going to attemp a comeback in the US. I'm pretty sure it was either in this months or lasts C&D, but I'm at work and don't have it around for reference...
  15. We've had ours 3 years this week and while it may be a little funny looking, it's been one of the most functional vehicles we've ever owned. My only regret is not splurging for the AWD model... :(
  16. Traditionally, the Camaro lagged behind the top engine of the Vette, no? I would think that the Camaro gets the LS2 while the Vette gets bumped to the LS3. That would maintain the horsepower differentiation that's been talked about in other threads/forums...
  17. They've got the refresh set so low on the redirect that there shouldn't be a reason for people to bookmark the ~cheers address! :)
  18. Guys, I don't know if it's just me, but the redirect that you have in place on the old c&g server doesn't work for Firefox. In Firefox, it asks if you'd like to download the octet stream, instead of the auto-redirect. It seems to works fine in IE though.
