So out of boredom sometimes on Sundays I cruise the car lots. Last week the Toyota lot was sparse, just like all the rest. This week the lot is FULL of new vehicles. Wow, I was impressed! Ford, Chevy and Dodge lots are still sparse. Does anyone else like that Lunar Rock color on the RAV4? I think it looks good with the black interior on those. 29 MPG average economy is pretty darn good for a 4WD as big as the RAV.

Hmmm... now I am wondering if part of the bulletin to change the transmission fluid also includes a reflash/reset to "learn" mode, like when the truck is new, because the transmission has settled down quite a bit since my last crying jag.

Went to the dump yesterday with my old mattress and a few other things, backed up next to guy in a late model orange Tacoma. His truck wouldn't start when he was ready to leave. He asked me for a jump start, so I pulled up and popped the hood, he had cables. BUY AMERICAN

My rosebushes have not done well, this was their third yerr. This summer, in a bid to shore them up, I applied Miracle Grow rose food every 2 weeks, with surprisingly limited success. In the same bed, I have two weigelas. One is fantastic, the other is puny. They were planted together about 10 yerrs ago. Now I am thinking of yanking them all out with a tow strap and eliminating that side bed altogether. Ass, Grass or Gas, no one rides for free.

The Ford F-150 Raptor also has 390.00 / 468.00 city/highway driving range on a single tank, AND (get this!) 100% of that driving range can be restored in about FIVE MINUTES. Even if you do get wrapped up in your off-road adventure and run out of (dino) juice "out there", if you carry an extra can of gas, you can get home! So... Ford is already ahead of GM in technology when it comes to "off road beasts", at less than half the price. Added bonus... the only thing embarrassing about the Ford is the exhaust note from the 3.5L V6!
