Anything is better than their 5 cylinder POS
  5. I figured... hey this guy is taking some pretty low light photography.. wonder what he's using :-). I have a K100D Super and am eyeing some slightly used K10D's now that some people are upgrading to the K20D's. I also am dealing with LBA.
  6. Hey another Pentax DSLR owner! :-)
  7. How about.. "Thats not a car... THIS is a car!"
  8. L would think thats a pretty bad angle to get hit by a truck no matter what you're driving.

Thanks! I got my first DSLR in December, a $450 Pentax, and have gone out a few times with it trying to compose some nice photos. Its a relaxing hobby that could turn expensive. Things are going to get really soggy here too this week so I wanted to go out on the weekend before the snow was gone again.

Took a few pics at the park beside where I live
  16. Save for a few small details (odd tailights/empty space below them, rear bumper, front lower honeycomb grill), I think its a winner.
  17. Better off with an Impreza
  18. Growing up in a country/city where guns are only something you see cops wearing or watch in movies/TV shows, its really weird for me when I spend time in Raleigh, NC where most of my work associates seem to carry them in their gloveboxes or center console.
  19. Whomever owns the shares. Whats a bigger chunk of money, the profits or the money spent at the local manufacturing plant economies to build the cars (wages/satellite support companies in the area etc), and the dealer network etc?
  20. I think this will get decent reviews when it arrives but no one but people on internet message boards will notice or care, and it will flop in the market like every Saturn midsize sedan has so far.

    Bahahaha! Thats classic!
  22. Reminds me of the Altima... Some nice elements to the design but see it a day later and its meh.

I found it awkward that people I didn't associate with in high school act like we were good friends when we ran into each other years later. Its as if going to the same school meant we should act like we were friends now over a decade later. Now that I'm no longer on the same side of the city, it hasn't happened in years. I'm on facebook to keep in touch with a few people and share photos, but have avoided "poking back" old acquaintances/friends who have tried to contact me. If I wanted to resurrect old relationships, I would have made an effort long before the facebook phenomenon. I'm not really into looking back. I don't really care who hooked up, who got fat or lost their hair, who still looks young, what their kids look like, who has made a lot of money etc.

If I travelled more for business I would be all over this. 3lbs, 5hrs battery life with wireless on and a full resolution/size screen, thats sweet. To me its biggest shortcoming is only 1 usb port that I can see.
