I think you have allot to learn.........(not trying to be rude here..) but some of what you said above is just excuses..... z28 mentioned about putting up ads, spend the 20$ to do it.... Also, calling a dealer or a place that sells bikes would have been the first place I would call just to see how they would pay for it. If the price you hear is not nearly as close as what you would have expected, then just go on over and have a look at howmuch es selling similar year and condition models for. That will give you asn idea of what you can expect to fetch for it. eBay is not that bad.... I thought the same as you before but there are some features of eBay wich you probably dont know of yet and thats why you are scetchy about using it. Get familiar, start an account and see what options you can chose while building up an item for sale, then reserve jugement to if it realy is as bad as you make it out to be. Allot of the things you describe are all things you will slowly learn that are tiny details in your life and ther are much larger things to worry about. A car is not an investment. No mater what it will break down some day. There is no perfect car, and at your age, any POS will do. You call the GA a POS because it left you on the side of the road, who cares. You had a LEMON. Not all GA's are like that. You'll prbably realize that almost any car that you will own in your life will breakdown or get you pissed off at one point or another. Learn to deal with it and see how thoe god darn thing works by working on it yourself. Then you will understand the nature of a car and breakdowns..... no car is suceptible to this.... not even a nissan 240 sx or zx... my friend has one and has had one for the last 6 years.- Guess Who's 29, Today?
bonne fete mon cher ami- You know what needs to make a comeback...?
Does anyone know the drink " Orbit ".... it was short lived as well but had these interesting floating dots in it... early version of bubble tea anyone?- Hit & Run

did you see where he explained that he chaised after the blazer to make things right? Sixty8 has a good sense of humour but we can OBVIOUSLY tell that he did the right thing in trying to get the guy in the blazer. He had good intentions. If I was in the girl's shoes, I wouldnt have cared that he laughed, I would have cared that he tried to help. Thats what matters- Car Spotting

are you kidding? EVERY HONDA IS COOL! to be part of society in the cool side, you have to own a honda...... otherwise people won't recognize your ricer potential! you know, everyone has a ricer potential.... unfortunately, my ricer potential is negative 5..... I'll never be a ricer ;-)- Car Spotting

Exacly. the only way you will realy be able to sell it without fixing it is to a scrapyard or salvage yard where they will part it out and sell bits to people with other broken Grand AM's who do fix them. Considering that it's body is in prety good shape and the interior is intact (as far as what I remember from the pics) It may be worth an engine swap project.... especialy since you live in the sticks. You have a garage right? Park it in there and take the engine out. Then put in something biger and possibly tweak it in the process. If you realy wanted and had the will to do this, believe me, you are capable of doing it. Open a fiew books, read some material and with some time and a small investment, you'll have a perfectly working grand AM for cheap. If not, then call up some scrappers or put it on ebay and find the best price. Don't expect much but at least you'll get something for it. That's peanuts...... spend the 5$ on the new EGR and another on some ruber hoses and fix the Idle problem at least..... it will up the selling price when you present it to a potential buyer...... if you [plan on keeping it then invest a fiew bucks on the parts to do the brakes and do it yourself or if you rather, pay for a garage to do it.- Pictures!

you get my drift though.... that saying "thers other fish in the sea" not only aplies to a person you like but also cars...... you see alot of cars for sale that are a steal and you'd buy if you had the cash or has the one thing that you absolutely love and you feel you must get that car..... look in autotrader, kbb, whatever public classifieds, auto ads site for listings in your area/province/state and you are bound to find a fiew results that fall close if not very close or better than the first car you realy wanted.- Pictures!

French and English both fluently. It's a requirement of my job. I was born and raised in french.... in a mostly english province- this is why i have anger
does that engien have hydraulic lifters? if yes, the knocking could be due to lack of oil to the lifters and pistons pushing up the valves?! This would be consistent with a blown head gasket as coolant would mix with oil (especialy when engine is hot and coolant presure rises) and the coolant would hinder lubricating properties in the lifters.... Mute, for the car, you could poke around on autotrader.ca in your area and easily find somethingyou like.....- Pictures!
Wouldnt want to make this feel more weird than its claimed to be...... might as well keep the weird coments and questions to the weird threads....... now back to pictures! (me included as soon as i find one...)- Pictures!
would you consider it weird in a bad way or weird in a quirky cheers and gears positive personality trait of its members?- Pictures!

I eventualy broke the ice and came out to my close friends and eventualy to my parents (by accident)...... It is such a relief once you let it out.... this topic didnt even occur to me or catch my eye till today and now that I've read your post, it realy makes me want to go see the movie bad.... I'll be taking my partner to the movies to go see this- Bag it or Build it?
The red one was the carved model if I remember correctly.... the actual running, functioning model was the silver one. Has anyone actualy noticed a difference in the 2 or are they identical?? About having a high beltline, the crysler 300 has a high beltline, seems to be the direction that they are going with agressive cars nowadays. I like it, gives it a serious agressive toutch. As for the interior, the gauges would need to be chaged or be more legible. The actual dash looks like it was stiched leather??!?! from the pics I saw. I love the 4 gauge pods in front of the shifter.... looks realy good - this is why i have anger
