  1. All things C&G and all things GM are what I'm wanting to catch-up on. No offense,BV, but personal stuff wasn't exactly what I meant. So, hit me with the highlights and headlines. :AH-HA_wink: BTW: Love the GT in your sig,91
  2. I have owned over 50 vehicles so far, and only a very few were not V8s. I like torque more than horsepower and don't care for high-revving 4s and 6s. I enjoy power down low and right away- off the line. I love performance and am not willing to wait for the smaller engines to spool-up. I guess I just prefer thunder to buzz. Also, I am not really a fan of small cars- and big cars require v8 power.
  3. Yup, I'm back. Got a new machine and am test driving it now. Bring me up to date folks - What have I missed since August?
  4. Thanks,Z. I am only here on a borrowed machine, but I hope to be back sometime soon.

Yup, I'm not dead but still without a functioning computer. Just on for a few minutes on a borrowed machine. Hello to all- I'll be back as soon as I can.
  6. Sure is nice when you are proven right after "having faith" for so long. B) Crispey sure did nail it oh so long ago! Anyone else notice the original-style first gen guages in the console? :AH-HA_wink:

It was always meant to be a short production run . If you count the '06, it will have had only three full years of production(the '03s are very few) and that's what GM was talking about at the start. Hopefully a new El Camino will quickly follow in the SSR's wake.
  8. Early wooden-bodied Mercedes.
  9. This is an odd little sportscar I saw at a show last fall. I haven't been able to ID it yet: Anyone know it?

ASC did just that, and added more power too. I think they called it "Razorback" - if memory serves. Similar paint scheme too.
