I have owned over 50 vehicles so far, and only a very few were not V8s. I like torque more than horsepower and don't care for high-revving 4s and 6s. I enjoy power down low and right away- off the line. I love performance and am not willing to wait for the smaller engines to spool-up. I guess I just prefer thunder to buzz. Also, I am not really a fan of small cars- and big cars require v8 power.

I think you can count me in.

Yup, I'm back. Got a new machine and am test driving it now. Bring me up to date folks - What have I missed since August?

Sure is nice when you are proven right after "having faith" for so long. B) Crispey sure did nail it oh so long ago! Anyone else notice the original-style first gen guages in the console? :AH-HA_wink:

It was always meant to be a short production run . If you count the '06, it will have had only three full years of production(the '03s are very few) and that's what GM was talking about at the start. Hopefully a new El Camino will quickly follow in the SSR's wake.

ASC did just that, and added more power too. I think they called it "Razorback" - if memory serves. Similar paint scheme too.
