  1. Ford brand actually had a pretty good month, as did Mercury, but Lincoln, Volvo, and Jaguar were all down over 11%. The Explorer did horrible, down 44%.
  2. Toyota nearly outsold DCX for the month. I find it funny that Chrysler thought their big inventory would give them a big month, yet they were only up 5%. What did the 300 and Charger do? The article didn't mention them.
  3. The Accord beat the Camry for once, by an impressive 7k units. Toyota was actually down vs. July sales.
  4. With all the clearance ads I saw for Honda over the last month, I'm suprised they weren't up more. 46k Accords is very impressive though, although I'm guessing there were some very good deals on 05s.
  5. Both of them look excellent so far guys. Nice work.

It does look pretty similar to the Torana from what I can tell. The roofline looks pretty good from what I can see, and the overall feel I get when I look at this shot is better than the front. It just looks sportier and hunkered down or something.
  8. I didn't even know there was a 2002 ZL1. Anyways, who is going to buy this when you can have a brand spankin' new Z06 for $30k less?

Today I saw an Allante, old SL (probably 60s or 70s), and a '64 Mustang.
  10. The DTS' interior looks really good to me. If you go to colors you can do interior colors too, and I'm really liking the ebony interior. The second pic to the left in the interior photos looks really good too. The exterior isn't as good, but it's better than the current model. I think the new DTS will definetly retain current Deville buyers and probably steal a few Town Car buyers as well. The STS and CTS get the HHR's purple? Yuck! The body color grill on the CTS looks great I think.
  11. I'm not sure how much I like it; it's certainly better than other cars Ford has put out recently, but it looks a lot like some past Lexus concepts to me and doesn't really say American.
  12. Yeah, you can make up a name if you want NOS.
  13. As has been said before, if you can afford a big SUV that costs $35-45k, you can afford to pay for the gas. I do expect sales to suffer somewhat, but I don't see why the GMT900s won't just take sales away from the SUVs that are currently out and will be way outclassed by the 900s. I can definetly see the 900s taking full size SUV market share from other makes. Whether that means increased sales, I don't know.
  14. There was an article a while back that I posted that said about 1/4 of 300 sales were to fleets, so it is possible that the 300 has more fleet sales. This is a good sign for the LaCrosse, though it still isn't too inspiring to me. I'm guessing the 300 has made Chrysler gobs of money though, whereas the LaCrosse has done about nothing for GM I'm guessing.
  15. I was pleased with the turnout but I'm hoping we can get up to about 15-20 chops per competition. Anyways, on with the results. The winner, with 32 points, is Bimmer325! In second place, with 19 points, is T-O-X-I-C! In third place, with 13 points, is blackviper8891! Congratulations to all the winners and to everyone who participated!
  16. Maybe if we start to get more chops we'll let people vote for three. However, if I allowed 3 votes you would be voting for nearly 1/3 of the entries and I think that's too big of a percentage. If there were 15 entries I'd probably allow three votes. Voting is now closed and results will be posted shortly.

I believe they're exactly the same.
  18. I really like that color on the Cobalt. It's on the Silverado for 06 and on the STS and CTS too. If I was buying right now I'd definetly consider that color.
  19. Maybe R&T was doing it in shitty conditions, or maybe they thought they were supposed to put sand bags in the back. That will probably be the slowest time ever for the Z06 0-60, you don't even have to shift to get there!
  20. Olds. Saturn has continued to suck money out of the coffers, and I think Olds would be adding money to the coffers if it was still alive today. However, Saturn looks to have a bright future.
  21. Well hey, there's numbers after all the "name this car" threads :P

It looks like a Prius because of the camo in the back. Read what CD/BP said.
  23. Northstar replied to Northstar's topic in The Lounge
Well that was some of the reason why I suggested it. I think it'd be cool if we got to 100 pages of car spotting. If you keep up with the thread then it wouldn't really matter how big it got because you'd just read the new posts of the day. Anyways, I don't want to make this into a debate and get off topic, so everyone keep posting what you've spotted. :CG_all:

If the chops evok posted are close then it should look pretty good. Hopefully GM will see the excitement over the Holden Zetas and give the green light to future RWD products in the US.
