Chevrolet News:Like a Boss: Is GM Planning a New Off-Road Pickup?
Burlington Chevrolet, in Burlington City, Burlington County, NJ, is a Southern Comfort dealer and also has one white '14 Reaper in stock. He's had the Reap since late summer. He'll sell the Black Widow and other Southern Comfort trucks, but the Reaper was still there last weekend when I stopped by. Reaper: MSRP $85k :-O http://www.myburlingtonchevy.com/VehicleDetails/new-2014-Chevrolet-Silverado_1500-Crew_Cab_Short_Box_4_Wheel_Drive_LTZ_w%2F1LZ-Burlington-NJ/2285131433 Some of their Southern Comfort trucks: http://www.myburlingtonchevy.com/VehicleDetails/new-2014-Chevrolet-Silverado_1500-Crew_Cab_Short_Box_4_Wheel_Drive_LTZ_w%2F1LZ-Burlington-NJ/2324072163 http://www.myburlingtonchevy.com/VehicleDetails/new-2014-Chevrolet-Silverado_1500-Crew_Cab_Short_Box_4_Wheel_Drive_LTZ_w%2F1LZ-Burlington-NJ/2218928213 http://www.myburlingtonchevy.com/VehicleDetails/new-2014-Chevrolet-Silverado_1500-Crew_Cab_Short_Box_4_Wheel_Drive_LTZ_w%2F1LZ-Burlington-NJ/2135753733 Oh and yeah, that Reaper is one hideous looking aftermarket truck!

JANUARY 2015 CAR SPOTTERS THREAD HERE!!!
Saw my first 2015 Ford F-150 Sunday at my local Ford dealership. It was a Oxford White with Camel Leather Trim, 4x4 SuperCrew in the 157" wheelbase (long bed?), MSRP $56k: And I know the GM full-size twins get slammed for their useless small sliding rear window, but I think the one on this new '15 F-150 is worse, if not as bad, as GM's:

JANUARY 2015 CAR SPOTTERS THREAD HERE!!!
In the wee hours of the first day of January, an abandoned factory in the next town over from me (Mount Holly, NJ) that used to make automotive headlights, taillights and other plastics (closed in '96) burnt to the ground. Extreme cold temps and a windy night did not treat the neighboring buildings (houses and a church/shelter) and cars parked illegally on the factory ground. Here are some pictures of what happens to automobiles parked too close to a very hot burning fire: GMC Yukon Denali: GMC Jimmy 2-door: Chevy Impala: Nissan Altima:

Item: 2015 Chevrolet Traverse LT
Congrats! I was not a fan of version 1 of the Traverse, but definitely like the upgraded version 1.5. I like how it uses a similar design from the Impala for the front; I also like the non-bulbous rear too. Good luck, and keep us updated on your ownership experience (I am a fan of the Acadia - though not sure I'd be happy with that over a GMC pickup!).

Hello there!
Welcome aboard, CeeJay! I'm Roger, aka GmTruckGuy74 (I love all things GM truck related). Any chance you'd be interested in brochure swapping? I'd love to get a hold of some Holden brochures, especially one on the current Ute. Please let me know!

Well if there was one inaccuracy about BTTF2's 2015
And now another BTTF2 reality: http://yahoo.thepostgame.com/blog/style-points/201501/nike-confirms-plans-release-famed-back-future-shoe-2015

Well if there was one inaccuracy about BTTF2's 2015
Chronologically, the BTTF series had three different dealerships featured in the same location: BTTF1: Toyota (1985), Studebaker (1955) BTTF2: Pontiac (2015), N/A (alternate 1985), Studebaker (1985) BTTF3: Primarily Wild West-based movie (1885), but I believe what would have been related was a horse stable; though not shown, Toyota (1985) as Marty drove his black Toyota pickup at the end of the movie

Well if there was one inaccuracy about BTTF2's 2015
You're right! Also, 1993's "Demolition Man" (in the year 2032) also predicted Oldsmobile would still be around.

22" LPO rims & tires - 2014 GMC Sierra SLT
Believe it or not, I actually like the 22" rims! It's the price that's killing the excitement I had him search for a couple of other colors with some key options and no dice. That's the problem with looking for a 2014 leftover at this time :-( Z-06, I may go that route if the 2014 doesn't pan out. Problem is the '14 leftovers have $5,750 in incentives along with the GM supplier price I get. The '15s only have $3,750 plus GM supplier pricing. I believe the incentives run out end of January, so ordering would be a risk of possibly losing out on the amount of incentives currently offered, though February or March could produce other/better incentives but do I gamble with that?

22" LPO rims & tires - 2014 GMC Sierra SLT
This 2014 may be back in the race. The wife and I looked at new GMC pickups Saturday night. She is not impressed with the Canyon and favors the Sierra. I received a top-off offer ($1,000) from the Extended Family GM Card yesterday on '14 & '15 Sierras, and my salesman replied to an email saying that there is $4,750 in incentives on '14 leftover models and $2,750 on '15 models. I'm stuck on the Emerald Green Metallic exterior color, my favorite color on these trucks right now (if only dark blue was offered...), in addition to the standard bed model (not the short box). He did a search and found another green Sierra SLT standard bed without the 22" rims but missing some key options I want and having some I don't (price is only ~$500 less than the one with the 22" rims). I've got some quick thinking to do...

JANUARY 2015 CAR SPOTTERS THREAD HERE!!!
Sorry for the grainy pics.. I did not have my iPhone with me either time and my Droid Maxx is a little outdated at this point. Friday morning on my way to physical therapy I spotted this '60s/'70s International Harvester LoadStar in the town next to mine still working hard all these years later: I've been spotting a lot of these old LoadStars within the past 5-6 months now. If I truly desired one of these, now's the time to get one. But I only admire them at this time. Sunday on the way to dinner I passed a storage lot for a business that outfits fire & police vehicles in the Cherry Hill/Pennsauken area on Route 70. A friend of mine from the firehouse mentioned this lot to me two months ago but this was the first chance I had to drive by it. There was an open lot with tons of new Chevy Caprice PPVs and another gated lot with tons more: I really wish a civilian Caprice LTZ was offered, I like this design.

Happy New Year everyone!
Happy New Year "2015", Cheers and Gears! I hope to make 2015 a great year - seeing as how it's my 40th on this planet My new year's resolutions are: (1) slow down and enjoy each day for what it offers; (2) take better care of my health and manage my weight; and (3) watch my frivolous spending - question every purchase with "do I need this?" and "will it be used right away?" before buying.
