  3. Heading in the opposite direction from me today on Route 295 was a light metallic blue 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass coupe... looked very sharp in the bright morning sunlight

  6. Found on the Internet, the Buick Envision was leaked out during a Chinese preview.
  7. Though production ended in 2008, I still marvel at seeing one of these: The International Trucks CXT (and the smaller RXT and smallest MXT) were my favorite medium duty-converted-into-pickups offered to consumers.

  11. I agree, Cubical. I only really like the 2015 Cadillac Escalade and GMC Yukon Denali (short wheelbases, not long). I find the 2007-2014 Chevy Tahoe & Suburban to be a great design, but these new ones I could pass on. The wife is still trying to talk me out of a pickup and into another SUV (ain't gonna happen!) but with the new styling and pricing of the full size SUVs I'll stick to the pickups.
  12. That is the color I was most interested in seeing when the truck was unveiled and the color pallete was shown. I was lucky that the first 2015 Canyon I saw, at the Philadelphia Auto Show early-February, was in the Emerald Green Metallic: I've also seen this color in person on the 2014 Silverado, a late availablity, extra cost color, and verified it's likely to be the color I choose for my next new truck (Canyon):
  13. Anytime I know you're as interested in these trucks as I am. Yup, the same sentiments many other potential buyers have about the diesel offering delay. They need to keep interest I guess (marketing tactic). To the best of my knowledge, the 2.8 Duramax Diesel engine will be available for the 2016 model year trucks, so I'd expect to see them available in mid-2015. No problem! I was happy to finally see some information posted - it's been very dry since these trucks were shown in December (Colorado) and January (Canyon).
  14. GM has recently added the 2015 Canyon information to the 2015 Online Order / Reference Guide: http://www.gmfleetorderguide.com/NASApp/domestic/proddesc.jsp?year=2015&butID=1&regionID=1&divisionID=2&vehicleID=15927&type=0

  17. I am a tanker (and tender, in fire-dept speak) fan... I saw this tanker trailer on my way home from work yesterday and it's the first time I've ever seen this type tanker trailer: Is anyone familiar with this type of trailer? If yes, does it serve a specialized purpose? I see "Sunoco Race Fuels" on the side; is this the type of trailer used specifically at race tracks? At first I thought it was military-spec since I live near Joint Base Dix-McGuire-Lakehurst (and the color is very Air Force-like). Just curious if this type of trailer is more common in other areas.

  19. Happy belated Birthday, Lamar! I hope your day was a great one.
  20. Went 'Sunday lot shopping' in Mercer County (Lawrenceville, NJ) to Coleman Buick-GMC and Princeton Chevrolet. At the Buick-GMC dealership, spotted: 1955 Buick Special 4-Door Hardtop Sedan 2015 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4WD SLE Double Cab (this is why I made the trip, to check this out) Over at the Chevy lot, spotted a Rainforest Green 2014 Silverao (late model year color addition; check out the Chevy Trucks thread to see pics) and my first 3500 Dually Crew Cab spotting: 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD 4WD LTZ Crew Cab Duramax Diesel
  21. Don't know if a hardware store would be of any help, but where my parent's live - Pemberton Borough, Burlington County - there's an old time hardware store that has the rarest of parts. I was looking all around for a locking nut for a 30 year old Nylint toy truck and this store was the only place that had the exact part in a display that looked 50+ years old
  22. I went Sunday lot shopping this past weekend in Lawrenceville, NJ (Mercer County). I checked out Princeton Chevrolet and found this 2014 Silverado 1500 LT 4WD Crew Cab model in the newest color addition: Rainforest Green Metallic (a $495 upcharge): This is the color I want my 2015 GMC Canyon in, but would love to have it on a Sierra 2500HD Crew Cab pickup

  24. Happy belated Birthday, Derek!! I hope you had a great day
  25. I am a huge fan of the 2015 Charger! If I wasn't so interested in trucks I think I finally found the vehicle that would sway me back to a 'car'. Saw it Saturday in NYC and was very 'wowed' by it in person
