Why the new Camaro will fail
So... the Camaro will fail because the GTO did, because it's assumed that it will get poor gas mileage, because of its styling with respect to the more bland mustang, because it's assumed that women hate it, because it's assumed that it will be too expensive... I agree!

Are the experts impressed by the RDX?
It really isn't a looker from the outside. It's almost like a Forester, with odd height proportions for an "SUV." I don't know how anybody can say it looks better then the X3.

Gas mileage you get
29 and change when driving purely HIGHWAY... I don't bother checking otherwise

It's hard to sleep with sweaty balls
But what about all the hot chicks that come out of hiding when the weather warms up... I think I'll survive.

It might not go well with the grey interior, but what about a light-medium/light grey (non metallic)?- Western Confrence Finals
Mav's... I'm from LA, it's the only logical choice.- Happy Birthday!
Hehe... those are always the best! I've fallen asleep (passed out) on a bathroom floor on more then one occasion.- CAYMAN or CORVETTE
You are right, the rear on the Boxster looks great... but it looks terrible on the Cayman, the greenhouse ruins everything.- Ruling is near on GM engine coolant
This thread makes me glad I didn't second-guess my service advisor, when he told me they would be changing the coolant (around the 51k mile service window).- Jazz up your posts with Character Entities
Excellent... now I can post my research directly into the thread, instead of having to link to a pdf created in LaTex! But really... that is cool.- Happy Birthday!
Party in So Cal!!! Where's it at? Happy B-day Nick!- Death of the V8?
Conversely... you can argue that technology is giving modern V8's the fuel efficiency ?and comparable weight? of current V6's. So does it come down to which technology, with respect to power of a V6 or efficiency of a V8, costs less? In which case... the cheaper will survive.- ....
I don't like these new "creased" hoods that Chrysler is using.- CAYMAN or CORVETTE
This one's easy... I don't like the rear of the Cayman (too much J-Lo for my tastes), so it's a Corvette for me.- How would you mod your car?
Pro's: the sound, more free at the top end, fuel efficiency(?) Con's: performance gains didn't feel as dramatic as I expected, driver's side cat would smack my floorpan during hard shifts (until the heat shield finally broke off), miscellaneous leaks, "hissing" due to loose washers (O2 sensors don't seat completely), it's a "hassle" to smog I got a MAC system (definitely not the best), so that could explain problems with fit-and-finish etc. But considering how much they cost and the work to install them, I think time and money would have been much better spent had I just got a cat-back exhaust sytem or even just changed my muffler.- How would you mod your car?
Since I already have mods on my car... In hindsight, I would have still gone with the suspension/chassis mods (upgraded control arms & panhard bar, strutt tower brace, sub-frame connectors), but I regret doing the headers. If anything I should have just gone with a cat-back exhaust. The air-box was a good idea too.- Camaro Engine Lineup Speculation...
Are you sure? My '00 has SLP stickers on the doors.- Camaro Engine Lineup Speculation...
Only up until 2000, I believe, then GM did everythin in-house.- Question for Josh
I've been to the one at the Hard Rock in Vegas... good food! On a related note. This place we go to in SD (for $1 tacos on Tuesdays) has hot waitresses with t-shirts that read "Kiss my Taco"- Your Mom is car spotting!
new 9-5 and Cobalt SS Sedan- Camaro Engine Lineup Speculation...
I rather not see Chevy resort to forced induction, I like that it's always been (at least that I know) all engine. Plus, I make fun of cobras for needing a supercharger.- Forum Addition Suggestions
I wouldn't mind having all videos in one place, or a pinned "folder" for videos in each forum- Mark Phlean Drives the Camaro
My Camaro gets a little over 29 mpg on the highway... so I don't think it's a big "if" at all. - Can't decide.
