[Updated] Pontiac Officially Dead in 2010 as of 04/27/2009
Come on, Satty. There hasn't been an Impala anywhere NEAR what the G8 offers since 1996.

Cutbacks and your car....
You either have a really long lunch break or a turbocharger built into you somewhere. Either way, I envy you, sir.

OH MY GOD
PCS, see what you started?

Look what's springing up outside today...
Within about 20 minutes of one another, I saw an older model Ferrari (not sure which), and an Audi S6 that sounded LOVELY with the V10... ... that was closely followed by a Fit with a fart can extraordinaire.

Why does racism still exist?
Can't argue with that. I bet he wouldn't have dared to say anything like that in East St. Louis, though, huh...

Around Philly, new '10 Fusion. The grille is actually well-integrated; you don't notice its size when the car's in your mirror. Also in Philly, an old metallic pink Impala. Leaning to the left because those two wheels were out of camber.

Recent polls have shown a fifth of Americans can't locate the U.S. on a world map.
I'm still stuck on Casket Demon's "isauceselees." Never seen that spelling of "isosceles" before.

drastic sales swings
Balthy, you left out that Toyota owns a small stake in Subaru also, which is strong enough to cause the upcoming Legacy to look like somewhat of a Corolla.

Why does racism still exist?
That would be a punch in the mouth.

Facebook
On it since '04. Probably the best way for me to keep up with my HS and college friends since I left VA. I also have MySpace but don't use it as much. Facebook has always been much more streamlined... and secure too. I hope they don't lose sight (wow, I almost typed "site" ) of that.

OH MY GOD
THIS. Though where I live now, I see plenty of kids out playing or even just walking to get somewhere. Not so much in other places.

On the way home, a Mercedes-Benz CLS500... with an AMG badge.

Pontiac G8: "Audi level interior"
To bring it closer to home for PCS, does that mean that the X5, X6, and Z3/Z4 (prior to MY '09) are American cars?

Road Rage or Not? Justified anger?
If you're getting at what I think you're getting at, some systems actually are smarter than before (i.e. if it's late and you're on a side road and arrive at a red light at a major arterial, the light will change for you instead of sticking to its timed cycle from earlier in the day). If I'm missing your point, please elaborate.

Poll: Where will Pontiacs sales go
As many have alluded to, though, Pontiac attracts several buyers (prospective and actual) because of affordability and a sporty image. The Buick of the near future will have none of that... nothing with the brute force of the G8 or the little-roadster-that-could Solstice. For the record, neither will Chevrolet. And the Cruze is pushed as the successor to the Cobalt, not the G5 (not that the difference between the two is so great, mind you ). ... and if they do price it down in order to take over Pontiac's place in the pricing hierarchy, then they bump heads with Chevy's higher trim lines (Impala-LaCrosse, Regal-Malibu).

Poll: Where will Pontiacs sales go
This sounds all too familiar... BTW, I vote Ford. A Taurus SHO in Atlantis Green is calling me in a couple of years.

Road Rage or Not? Justified anger?
If my math serves me right, 20 under 45 mph means they were then driving about 45 km/h. I wonder how often that happens with foreign-born drivers...

BP, Exxon, Sunoco, Shell...
Sadly enough, Hess isn't the cheapest around here. It was where I was in undergrad though. Can't say I blame you about Citgo. I only avoid them 'cause their gas doesn't last as long for me though.

Letter from Congrersman
Yeah, that's true. I learned to get the juice and THEN pour the cereal... or just stick to Raisin Bran Crunch. ------------------ To the letter that you posted, 68, I've never understood the whole "organic" thing. Maybe because when I was in elementary school, "organic" was almost synonymous with "biodegradable," which was then supplanted by the chemical definition of "containing carbon atoms." Food without pesticides, etc. was just called "natural," not this newer "organic" buzzword. I've seen "organic WATER" for sale, for cryin' out loud...

BP, Exxon, Sunoco, Shell...
Oh yeah, SAmadei, they're only just now building a Wawa near where I live. A gas station, that is. They actually have a store nearby but without the gas pumps. Where I grew up, there's a station halfway between my parents' house and their offices. They almost swear by it. Only Satty... You know, I used to frequent the ice cream shop during college 'cause of a cute girl that worked there.

Along that thread, I know that NOTHING beats Kellogg's Raisin Bran. However, I've tried the store brands and they're more analogous to Post than Kellogg's. I believe you though.

2010 Cadillac SRX First Drive
DF, there should be comparos soon. I'm willing to bet that the C&D won't put the SRX against the likes of, say, the Outlander. When's this come out again?
-
BP, Exxon, Sunoco, Shell...
You may be about right about that code. What year is your car?

2010 Cadillac SRX First Drive
To be fair, it was their (Lexus's) bar to set. Everyone else followed them.
