So...
I haven't opened up the Cruise Missile just yet... fastest I've gone in it was about 82 on I-95 from Baltimore to DC, and that was with traffic. When I would go home from college, there were stretches of road between Charlottesville and Richmond that just begged for high speeds. I don't travel that way anymore though since I graduated and moved. Maybe soon though... if I'm driving alone...

2010 Mazda3
Given the Corolla, Civic (not too bad IMO, just everywhere), Sentra, Impreza, Spectra, and Elantra (in second place)... ... point well taken.

2010 Ford Fusion
Something about mating the 6M to the D3x engines... they've never done it before for some reason.

Fuel/Oil market prices
It cost me less than $30 to fill up the Cruise Missile on Tuesday. I hadn't experienced that since before Katrina hit in '05.

Some gifts...
All that sexy, and then you show the G3... The redone G6 does look better though, probably 'cause it's a much-needed update.

October 2008 Sales: Toyota Motor Sales
I thought about that... but then some online articles I had seen still referred to high gas prices. I'll keep checking...

GM to Return Two Leased Jets
Make it the Milan Hybrid, and change Sable to Fusion Sport, and your list is perfect

2010 Mazda3
The car looks VERY happy indeed. Aside from the Kool-Aid smile, I do like it. Not that it's saying much, but it's easily the best-looking Japanese or Korean compact now... which may be why it's smiling.

2010 Lincoln MKZ
Ah, too many manufacturers make their entry-level cars miniatures of their mid-level or top-tier cars (looking at MB and Toyota). I'm not mad at them for the differentiation.

The Love Affair is Over???!!!
Good thing you *used* to work with him. How can people attest to the longevity of cars if they don't keep them up?

Crappy weather
Columbus proper is bigger than Atlanta proper. :AH-HA_wink: Seasonal air just hit here in Baltimore. I think it's here to stay this time.

The New GM: Chevrolet, Cadillac, and...
Yeah, I've often had to tell people that GM runs Saab.

October 2008 Sales: Toyota Motor Sales
Depends who you ask. Speaking of, have you noticed how recent car reviews still talk about gas prices being extremely high? The last new review I read still referred to $4 gas.

The New GM: Chevrolet, Cadillac, and...
It was a hard choice between Pontiac and Buick, but I picked Pontiac. Though I'd love to see them together as one channel... soft luxury versus hard performance. As far as GMC, they can do as Ford did and include a more luxurious trim level in the Silverado/Yukon lineup. Though I'd miss the Acadia... I had hope for Saturn but they've pretty much been Ford's Mercury. Saab... quirky, but unnecessary. HUMMER... er, ah, no.

G8 GXP driving impression!
TL, you mean? The TSX would be about as competitive as a bicycle.

Turkey! Cranberries! Firebird Formula 400!
There's that one black '09 Maxima I keep seeing in my town. Also, an '09 Mazda 6 in the wild.

Sad+Pathetic=
I have never had thick-cut bacon before. I feel like I'm missing out, 'cause it looks so good... Spot on, Drew, spot on.

October 2008 Sales: Toyota Motor Sales
You know as well as I do why the Prius outsold the Malibu, and it has nothing to do with looks or quality.

The decline and the fall
This. Especially in services.... no matter what the field, people will ALWAYS need them.

CNBC: Barack Obama on the Auto Industry
Let's stop there and sort this out... National debt != budget deficit. When we say "deficit," it has to do with the yearly federal budget. If expenses > revenues, then we have a budget deficit. The opposite would be a surplus. However, accumulated deficits do become debt, so it's not too far off.

BIG 3 BUNKRUPTCY
Unless CNBC has a crystal ball that predicts GM selling next to nothing this month, YTD sales change sits at around -21% as of last month.

Posting for Sixty8panther/Silvester...
Here's how to start her early: You: "What's a Toyota, honey?" Amelia: "Yucky! " You: "That's Daddy's girl... "

American Football (NFL)
Pros and cons for each one. NFL, because you actually KNOW how you make the playoffs instead of a computer telling you. College, because the live atmosphere is GREAT. Except for the aroma of Jack Daniel's.

Again and Again
ocnblu, that's how I met my wife. Didn't know it at the time, however, and she was even more clueless than I.
