Do you like cats?
They actually do the same thing after sex. To answer the original question, I prefer cats (only person in my family who does). Dogs seem to like me though.

Something that really pisses me off.
I haven't posted since the first page... ... but after reading through every posts, I have an interesting point that I read some time ago: Research has shown, to some extent, that many of the Hispanic undocumented immigrants (I refuse to say "illegal" anymore, even if the process isn't legit) don't exactly plan on staying in the country. Hence a possible explanation to why many don't try to become proficient in English. To everyone who emigrated from wherever else (mostly Europe) or whose predecessors did... when you and/or your parents/grandparents/ancestors first came here, did you/they plan on staying forever?

Something that really pisses me off.
I don't really mind, personally. The increase of the Hispanic population in US and its effects on our culture are actually professional interests of mine. More to research.

REVIEW...."ACURA"....."CSX"
Everything I've read elsewhere confirms what TTAC has said.

Exploring area roads...
Tell me about it. Gasoline has both my MasterCard and Visa almost to the max, especially since I drive from Baltimore area to NW DC two days out of the week...

August 2008 Sales: The BMW Group
Dirty!
-
August 2008 Sales: Toyota Motor Sales
It still makes NO freakin sense how the Sequoia and Land Cruiser/LX are ALWAYS posting positive numbers. I don't care if they're brand new or not.

August 2008 Sales: Chrysler LLC
Shoot, if they did have a fire sale like that, I'd have me a Charger by now. ... maybe.

August 2008 Sales: Chrysler LLC
For $7,800, most definitely. But they usually call that a "going out of business sale." What exactly are you trying to imply? (EDIT: math)

August 2008 Sales: General Motors
As someone who's done it before... no. I even drove the Camry SE V6 and still preferred the more engaging feel of the Impala LTZ.

Hanna, go to Montana!
We got rain here in central MD, but not nearly the deluge that the forecasters were talking about.

Shortest and longest...
Longest: The Pathfinder (had it since 2000, although it only got transferred to me in '06). Shortest: My wife's old Intrepid (got it in July '05, it died in September '06).

Exploring area roads...
I used to love to do that... but gas prices plus a vehicle that averages 15 mpg have kinda put the kibosh on that. Sometimes I still sneak it in though...

The Latest Fall Fashions
After coming back from the Mazda dealer to peruse the new Mazda6... I saw an '09 Maxima on the road in all black. Still looks mean.

Weddings....
I don't really mind them anymore now that I've had the opportynity to actually WATCH some as opposed to being in them (usher, groomsman, pianist). That said, I'm looking forward to being in my brother's wedding this coming May.

The Latest Fall Fashions
Finally saw a Flex on the Interstate yesterday. Definitely NOT boring.

Duh: Cadillac shelves that whole V12 thing
Curious... what's your first?

Economic crisis
Yeah, I hear that. Fortunately I don't have to pay those back yet since I'm actually still in school. I just got done exchanging emails with my department head... hopefully I'm not in too much trouble. Is it possible that the insurance is high just because the cars are old? (Especially that Intrepid... how have you kept it going almost to 200 grand?)
-
Economic crisis
Tell me about it. Gas has actually dropped around here since the beginning of last month to the tune of about 40 cents/gallon. But still... to the people who are out buying SUVs due to the drop in gas prices, we're not out of the woods yet.

This made me laugh harder than I have in a long time
Very droll.

Economic crisis
13 miles, about 20 minutes. That's via Interstate.

Economic crisis
Fellow C&Gers, Have you ever been so down-and-out that you can't even afford to go to work that day? I'm having to call/write in today because I can't even put enough gas in the Pathfinder to drive to the train station to get to DC. Shame, because I really enjoy what I do...

My Humps
From what I understand, you have to really dig to find the good stuff... you know, the hip-hop that hasn't been commercialized. But I don't have the time to be digging.

FUTURE PRODUCTS -- GENERAL MOTORS
I just read that too. Let's hope it is just a rumor.

My Humps
Believe it or not, I've heard MUCH worse songs.
