Autoblog readers love Asian cars that sound like they might be about something....?

Autoblog picks the best debuts of New York Auto Show
May not have been mentioned, but they were shown more often than the 5 that were mentioned.

Vanity Plates
That may very well be, but you know how long the political process takes here. :AH-HA_wink:

GM cars you miss seing the most
Like was said earlier, the B-body Impala SS. Actually, I liked all the B-bodies. 3rd-gen Camaro/Firebird. Too bad there was no Corvette from my birth year... Oh yeah... 66Stang, I saw a wine-colored '90s Riviera earlier.

"I said MARCH, young man!"
You don't stay that far from me. I'm gonna have to go out again soon and check the dealerships around here.

Vanity Plates
Try again... without the pound sign. Delaware doesn't allow them.

I don't get that one...

"I said MARCH, young man!"
... but not by a person. On my way from VA on Tuesday, a Chevy Nova. ... and on my way back on Thursday, a Mercury Capri with classic plates.

GM @ NYIAS '08: Pontiac G8 GXP
Well, yeah... GMNA had been cursed (cursed itself?) with subpar interiors for a long time.

GM @ NYIAS '08: Pontiac G8 GXP
I mean... Cadillac is supposed to be the highest-level luxury brand within GM, so one would expect its interior to be the best. It's a bit unfair, I think, to compare anything from Chevy, Pontiac, or Saturn to it. It's like comparing the MINI Cooper to the 3-series... the Focus to the MKZ... the xD to the IS250... et cetera. IMO it doesn't make much sense.

2009 Nissan Maxima Leaked
Like most, I say the front could use some work. But I actually like it.

GM @ NYIAS '08: Pontiac G8 GXP
Per , first posted by Autoblog, the Genesis also drives without any sporting pretentions at all. And it's not even as luxurious as they make it out to be. Since you're so into reviews, I thought you'd like to watch one from someone who drove the car instead of just going off pictures.

New York '08 Preview: 2010 Pontiac sports truck
I can see it being a hit in some geographical markets, not so much in others. Basically, wherever pickups abound, expect to see a fair share of G8 STs. Not many pickups? Not so many STs. I think I just came up with a potential name... be right back.

GM @ NYIAS '08: Pontiac G8 GXP
... and still the 6A for those of us who never had any opportunity whatsoever to learn how to row our own boats 8 1/2 years ago.

2009 MAXIMA TEASER
As long as they can make it fun to drive, like in generations past (I still love pushing my wife's '99), I'll be happy. I also wonder if they've kicked around the idea of introducing a high-performance model with AWD. They need to make sure that this car isn't outperformed by the Altima 3.5 (again).

BAH, you know what I meant!

Automotive Death Watch
From what I heard, they're all Carl's Jr. in the West, but still Hardee's in the East. Same restaurant, different name. Like Rally's and Checkers.
