  1. Uh, is that units actually sold, or merely delivered to the dealers? Up here, they are just sitting on the lot. A lot of people are coming and looking, but nobody is plunking down their hard earned cash. I am still holding my breath, as I believe this is a well put together vehicle, but the market, at least in the Greater Toronto area is taking a big yawn to the HHR so far.
  2. The truth is, people won't pay for saftey. GM tried this when ABS was standard on everything, then 2 years ago they yanked it out of most entry level and mid-sized cars. The customers didn't care! On a $15,000 car, people won't pay $400 for side air bags or $600 for ABS. They'd rather have power windows and keyless! Kudos to GM for trying, but as with OnStar, the public doesn't understand and (for the most part) give a damn. Besides, am I the only person to notice that when people get surrounded by "safety features," they get lazy, complacent and become bad drivers? A lot of Volvo drivers I know are terrible. Last winter, I watched a woman in a Volvo do a 180 in the middle of the intersection and I thought, "Gad. she needs a Volvo, the way she drives!"
  3. When I was in Brazil earlier this year, the Chevy Montana was every where. It is a cute, small truck and there were a lot of them, especially in Sao Paulo. I snapped pics of them, but I am an idiot and don'tknow how to post them here. This truck would definitely sell here.
  4. The Odyssey is the only Honda truck that I would be caught dead in. The rest of their "truck" line is just plain UGLY. I would rather drive a Toyota (and for anyone who knows me, that is saying a HELLUVA LOT.) The Pilot has always been ghastly; the CR-V just as bad. and the interiors still look like my buddy's '91 Accord.
