Sorry it's taken me so long to get back with you..The only way you're going to get any advantage out of the March Madness is if you can find a Lucerne that's been sitting in inventory for longer than 120 days, that's the only cars that have the bonus cash.

Right now we're running a little low on Lucernes but we've got about the biggest selection of them in the area. I'm located in Indianapolis and we get calls from as far as Iowa for dealer trades for Lucernes.

I know they're supposed to have a heated steering wheel for 07' but that's all I've heard....

We had one of our best months in a while...Rendezvous did great for us as well as Lucerne. I believe we've delivered about 65 of them since we got our first in November.

I bet if it was a pile of dog crap with wheels slapped on it and a Toyota badge on the front they'd consider it "The car that is going to destory General Motors" I am so sick of this

What region are you in? I'll be glad to check it out for you...

I've got a sharkskin CXS with ebony and I love it I've never had a problem with extra cost paint but on the other hand most of my customers are GMS. I have heard about dealers not budging on the price of these cars but in my opinion they're nuts....especially if they're in GM's SFE program....

We had a good turnout for ours we had 3 cars in the showroom and 2 out if people wanted to drive...Only sold one out of it but hopefully most will be back...

It's too bad they haven't shown Enclave to the public it's beautiful...

The thing that irratates me is how the press is so anti-American...It seems like everytime there's a problem with a GM car they love to just expose it and blow it out of porportion but if the Japanesse have a problem (i.e. the Toyota sluge or "gel" buildup problem) ask anyone in the general public and they've never heard about it. But if there's a recall over a bad sunvisor screw on a GM car it seems the whole world knows. I'm just tired of hearing about how "superior" and "reliable" those cars are when GM's products are just as good if not better.

Yeah I agree since we've had Tiger around I've had 1 person even mention Tiger and he's an in-law so he was going to buy a Buick anyway so it hasn't done our store any good...I'm sure that's different in places where the PGA tour makes a stop but in Indianapolis Tiger's not much of an attraction for our buyers...

We just got out launch kit for the whole Martha Stewart thing and I think it's a waste. I don't understand why they hired a spokesperson for PETA to promote a car that will mostly sell with leather (looks like Martha's going to be driving a CX :lol: ) I just don't think it's an attractive match for Buick.

I think that the V8 models are really going to depend on buyer. I really don't see a lot of the older customers buying a CXS just because of the harder ride and most of the older customers I had hated the gran touring suspension on the LeSabres. I think the CXS will definately be a winner with the younger/conquest buyers hands down because the handling is hard to beat. The final call on that will depend on how many younger customers this car attracts, but I agree with your point and really see the CXS being the more popular of the two.

Actually we're planning on stocking mostly CXL's with Driver confidence package and a combination of a few options....for some reason our store has never done real well with customs with cloth, the only LeSabres we have left are basic customs with wheel and sound package..

I'll try to get some pictures posted if someone could tell me how...

I don't know what the rebates are in your region but in North Central they've got $4250 off an 05 LaCrosse..to me that's pretty hard to beat

The one that we got that surprises me is the Sharkskin CXS with ebony interior and the brushed nickel wheels it's a beatiful car I didn't think I'd care much for the wheels but I kind of like them better than the chromes

I don't see a problem as long as you can convince the owner not to fire me :lol:

We just got 8 Lucernes in stock (1 cx 5 CXL V6's and 2 CXS's)...I have a feeling these wont sit long B)

From what I'm hearing it should be out just after the first of the year.

The only car they offer an accesory wood steering wheel for so far is Lucerne...If I find out differently I'll let you know.
