  1. Never tried it. The good old fashioned knife, spoon, and fork have worked very well for me since the age of 2. Lets try a real challenge. Eat with toothpicks.
  2. I am 30 and a half. Also with no kids or even a girlfriend. Wouldnt mind a girlfriend sometime. I also live with my parents. But before people make assumptions, I work everyday, pay my parents quite a bit of money to be with them and make sure they are accounted for.
  3. I actually like the 1988-99 version. But I also liked the 2003 that I test drove back in the days of the 24 hour test drive. Only thing I didnt like was the bouncy ride. For that reason alone I would get an Avalanche. That has a different rear suspension.

Been quite hot here in Northeast Wisconsin too. It is 97 with a 71 degree dew point. Quite stifling.
  5. I have grown to love my A/C and some of the power stuff. I miss power windows on the Bonneville when I would like both windows down. Power locks are also nice moreso on a 4-door when somebody needs to get in the back. Sometimes it needs to be said that the good old days werent always so good. As much as I liked my old B-bodies and still do, I can admit defeat and admit I liked my 2000 Monte Carlo and now my 2005 Equinox for everyday drivers far better than the old stuff. Especially in the winter. I can see the old versus new from both sides.
  6. Nice truck.
  7. 22 inch wheels on a B-body. The same wheels on a SUV. An import with an american flag. New cars with vinyl roofs.
  8. You have that problem too. Maybe some day a girl will like us. Someday. I wouldnt mind the sex. I just dont want the kids.
  9. I can take cold a lot better than heat. Anyone that says Wisconsin never gets hot needs to come this weekend. Or should have been here last weekend. Dont like humidity at all. Give me a 60-70 degree day witn no humidity and I am happy. The $ spent on the 1981 Bonnevilles A/C to keep it working is money VERY well spent. Plus the A/C in the Equinoc will freeze you out which I love.
  10. Almost cried today when the guy came to get the Buick we sold to him. In a way Dad and I didnt want to get rid of it. But the issues was where to put it in the wintertime and the fact it had body rust and needed a few things, A/C being one.

Someone around here did that to a 1970 or so Chevelle. And I live in Wisconsin so that kind of rules out the Mason-Dixie line thing.
  12. Somebody actually kept the origional radio in a 1976? Just kidding but seriously, people need to open their eyes and realize that toyota and Honda dont know everything.
  13. Kind of fixes that doesnt it?
  14. I dont think I have any enemies.
  15. Take notice if it stalls when you come to a stop. If it stays running well in neutral, it could be something as simple as the lockup torque converter not unlocking when it should. This isnt a really expensive repair. The lockup solenoid on some of these GM's tend to get so they dont unlock. Replace the solenoid(If thats the problem) and you should be good to go. This did happen to both my sisters Cavalier(1995) and Venture(1998).
  16. Rush, Van Halen( I do have Van Halen 3 and while it is different from the rest I still find a few of the songs to my liking),Alice in Chains, Judas Priest. I must have somewhere between 350-400 CDs all ripped into my computer. Needed a second hard drive just to put it all in.
  17. Give me a Silverado any day. Still the rice people will say it is better than anything Chevrolet can come up with. Show me where?
  18. I live between Appleton and Green Bay Wisconsin. The weather is very changable but overall I cant complain. The crime rate isnt really high and we have what we need in Appleton as far as what stores we need. I have a good restauraunt and a gas station right across the street from me. Also a laundromat, carwash and a park. I lioke the area though in Tennessee by the Chatonooga area. Wouldnt mind spending more time down there. only thing is the summers get damn hot. It gets warm enough here. Winter here doesnt bother me. I am one of those weird people that likes it cool rather than hot.
  19. Best around here is from a little Italian place in town called Little Luigis. I have known the people a long time. Nothing is quite like theirs. They dont overdo it with the pizza sauce.
  20. Some of that rap music or that crap they play at the clubs just gets me. An example is the rap group 50 cent. The guy thinks he is cool because he lived after getting shot 5 times due to his own crap. The song laffy taffy also makes me sick everytime I am forced to here it.
  21. If that Buick had been in better shape I would have done more with it. But the bottoms of the doors are rusted out and it has 260,000 miles. The engine is perfect but the transmission sometimes gets into 4th gear and wont downshift until you come to a stop. The A/C and the cruise control dont work. The interior is like brand new.
  22. Because people believe everything Consumer Reports tells them. Not to mention all the import lovers on car forums.
  23. And now I found out the Buick wont be an issue because it is being sold.
  24. Nice find. Get the right seats. Your engine idea sounds cool also. You dont have to do everything like everybody else and a turbo V6 sounds like a nice way to be different.
  25. I am happy to finally be able to drive my Bonneville and the 1984 Buick Park Avenue again. Now that the air cinditioning is fixed on the Bonneville(AGAIN!!!!!!). hopefully the Buick will use a little less gas now that the choke doesnt stay closed for like 10 minutes.
