'73-'80 Chevy/GMC Truck Road Tests
I call the 1981 Bonneville and the 1984 Buick Park Avenue Modern classics. Everyone laughs but its true.

More troubles
How old are you? What is your credit like? I just ask because when I went for the lease on the Equinox there never was any question as to insurance(Other than which company it is from) or needing a co-leasee.

I GOT NEWS
My turn will come in the next week or 2 as far as drinking too much at a company Christmas party. Did that last year.

Mortality
You have this bad habit too of staying up too late and consuming things that arent good for you. Good, I am not alone in the world. Mine will be 49. Poor diet.

Buy a GM, or Pay GM...
I hate the fact our country is being sold out to the foreigners. Like I read somewhere else, it used to be that darn near everything we bought was made here and the companies were based here. I still buy GM because they are at least based here in the U.S. Ford too. But for how much longer? Most electronics now arent made here nor are the companies based here. Zenith is an example.

Why Modern Country Music Sucks
I am not a fan of country fan myself. It should have died 25 years ago. Most of it is about the same things. I lost my dog, my wife and/or I drive an old Ford pick up truck.

Retro Vinyl
Vinyl was good on the old cars but doesnt belong on the new ones. I like metallic paint work. But some solid colors are cool too like the white and bright red.

Equinox, the forgotten child?
Thats not true!! The Pontiac does have the red guages. Seriously though I dont know what the reason for the Torrent is. At my dealership they have both sitting side by side. I just wish GM had done a little better on the 1st year issues these had. They can for some people ruin what really is a very good vehicle in my experience.

Monte Carlo SS Tested by The Car Connection
That is the total truth!!!!! FWD isnt the bad thing people make it out to be. For a lot of people it may make it easier to deal with in bad conditions.

What bankruptcy would mean to GM
I thought I heard that Toyota is buying GM or forming a partnership with them. Is this true?

Monte Carlo SS Tested by The Car Connection
Cant deny though that even with it being FWD it still is a better performer than any of the old ones. Gm seems to have put a lot of time and work to make the V8 so it would perform well in this FWD setup. I wouldnt mind taking one for a spin now just to see how it is in real life.

2006 Chevrolet Impalla review
In what way? My only thing about it is I dont know about the new guage markings. Liked the old ones better or the one like in my Equinox. Otherwise it looks much inproved to me. I dont really see where a Camry or Accord interior is better and I have sat in both.

Stalling for No Reason!!!!!

Lutz Speaks On The Success Of The HHR
And for some people they like FWD better for winter use. I think for the HHR the RWD setup would take too much room.

GM Moves....
I remember sometime not too long ago Toyota having a big halabalou about the fact they had electronic cruise control. GM has had that since 1984. But they took credit for it. Same with the Honda Ridgeline tailgate. Gm has had that since the 1960's.

Ames, IA just got hit by an F3 tornado
We got 40-50 mile and hour winds out of this thing. Some power outages in Green Bay and trees down. Here we just have some tree branches down and the sign for the restauraunt across the street got damaged for the second time in a week.

Edmunds: Chevy Corvette Z06 Review
I can maybe see how one of these might be just a little slower than the CTS-V from 0-60. How could you get a good accelaration run without burning up the tires? More telling to me would be how it goes from say 50-80. A more normal routine.

Your favorite Impala model year
My absolute favorite is the 1977-79( Though the 1980-85 night be included in that). Honarable mentions are the 1969-70 and the 1971-76.

Alcohol
Never mix Peppermint schnaaps and Kesslers in the same drinking episode. Half a bottle of each of those and I watched my life flash before my eyes. In another episode I had about half a bottle of Bacardi 151 and the pepsi that goes with it. Then went to the club and had the drink special. After about the 8th whiskey and pepsi I quit counting. I was still drunk at 3:00 in the afternoon the next day. And thats with quiting drinking at bar close. Those were the days. I have woken up in some strange places. Peoples lawns, bathrooms, kitchen floors, etc.

Winter preparations
There is one thing about using one of these for a winter beater. How will it start if it gets really cold. Like below 0 degrees?

How Much do I hate My Equinox
I only have had the coolant issue with mine and a shock that loosened. Both were fixed and all is well. I love my Equinox. My parents like theirs too but they too had the coolant issue.

I Can't Believe Chevy is Ditching the Maxx
I was dissapointed too when my salesman told me the Maxx is being discontinued after this year. I almost got one had I not looked closer at the Equinox. The Maxx is a good vehicle for a lot of people.

Chevrolet Monte Carlo pics in Oshawa
I actually like it a little better than the 2000-2005 one. I wish they had used wood instead of silver dressups for the interior though. I think the reason the interior didnt get the major overdo that the Impala did was because it didnt get the same criticism for its design that the Impala did. We wont get started on the RWD thing.
