I'm confused.. I thought the Escalade was going to have standard 403hp... the article states 375hp/430 torque. Which is it? Just checked the Cadillac website... it says the numbers are 403/417.

I don't know... I guess I'm just anxious to know any definite information about the car. Not to mention see some actual pictures.

That's so funny you should say that... as soon as I posted it, I started thinking--it reminded me that my friend's family makes an "outing" to Shirley to go to Roys like a few times/year. I feel like I might have to make a trip out there... hey, I go out to Rocky Point once/month to do dinner with friends... maybe I should pick up some food for the ride home and throw it in the fridge for the next day. Then again, doubt it'd be on my "diet" that my sarge has me on (phys ed/health teacher here) She's bustin' my ass--lost 12lbs in the past 4 weeks

Hey, if done right, I'd totally consider it as my next car. I'm a GM fan, but with every single model, I always find something that it "lacks" that I want. I think because of the way the divisions are set up, it's like, I love the Impala LTZ, but couldn't get auto climate control if I wanted... I'd have to go down to a cheaper Malibu (makes no sense to me here--I mean, granted the Impala offers dual zone, but still, it's not auto), which is smaller and not the style I like, or jump up to a LaCrosse, which, has its own issues (granted the same platform as an Impala).

Now how the hell did I miss that?!I like the idea about a separate amber turn signal bar of lights... I prefer cars have amber lights for turn signals than red. Alright, it's a decent facelift--the interior needs more luxury to it though... hopefully that will be added.

I think this is great... some extremely powerful cars that handle very well--hot interiors? Keep up the quality, and then maybe, just possibly, GM will get some respect from the press.

Where is everyone seeing the taillamps? I only see a shot showing the side and front.

lol, true true Although, I don't think CR would change! Although, would be nice for someone to write an article in a magazine, and mention CR's ratings for the car (I'm assuming it was rated very well in all categories)
