Malbu gets another new steering wheel design
Mule, what that picture can't show you is that there are layers of buttons there. You can pull a button for certain functions. I've used a similar setup in the new DTS and it's actually quite intuitive and useful. Yes there are lots of buttons, but they are easy to operate.

FJ Cruiser and Yaris pricing
I really don't understand why the Yaris <dumb name> isn't sold as a Scion.

2006 Corvette Pace Car
Does the Corvette really need more publicity though? GM should have sent the CTS(-V), Solstice, Sky, GTO, or heck even the DTS out there.

Malbu gets another new steering wheel design
Well if nothing else it will help cut some costs having one less steering wheel to produce. Greater economies of scale and all that.

330i 6MT vs IS350 vs C350 6MT
I could call the order of results without even opening the article. Oh... and Balthy the CTS would come in 4th because the steering wheel is too big.

Your spending style
I only spend other people's money, but I still do it conservatively.

Any chance of the G6 getting a DOHC V-6?
I was going to suggest Saab 9-3 to him.

Push-button Slushbox
This was the pretty one: The one I posted earlier reminds me of those VW Beatles with a Rolls Royce grill pasted on.

Push-button Slushbox
Off topic.. but I was just scrolling through pics of Desotos and came across this: It reminded me of how ugly the '58 Mercury was: And then I though to myself.... were all the late 50's mid-range brands that ugly? Yep:

max power from v6's?
I think those numbers may be a bit high for "from the factory" Loki. I think 260hp 260lbft and 290hp 280lbft are a bit more likely.

The 300 may have Grace, but that's only because Dino and Bam Bam won't let her out of the trunk.

Caddy should do what MB is doing...
There's plenty of Benz, mostly of the E-Class variety, in these large machines. The aluminum five-link rear suspension on all 300s is based on the E-Class design, but the 300 has a wider track and bigger wheels and tires, with a steel cradle in place of the E's aluminum one. Link The new 300C and Dodge Magnum both share the Chrysler LX platform, which features components derived from the previous-generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Such components include the suspension design, front seat frames, wiring harnesses, steering column, the 5-speed automatic's design, and a derivative of the 4-Matic AWD system. Link

Your most common typos
I used to work as a network administrator. It was always embarassing having "insufficient dick space".   I frequently type "and" when I ment to type "an".

Caddy should do what MB is doing...
Cadillac should do what MB is doing in terms of platforms. That is, taking their older platforms, sprucing them up a bit and handing them to the lesser divisions while developing the high tech stuff for itself

The Stalk
I'm not at all appalled. After driving GMs for years, I am very comfortable with "the stalk". The nice thing about the stalk is that I can get in nearly any GM car and everything works the same as the last one. No need to take my eyes off the road when I'm in a GM rental because I know where everything is.
