07 Silverado and Sierra
While I too would like to see them on sale earlier, November is still like 6 months before the new Tundra goes on sale.

07 Silverado and Sierra
So they can go on sell before the hype dies. They're going on sale, I believe, in November.

Auto analyst slams GM to VA dealers
What platform is the Aura on now? Epsilon? Is the current Aura intended to be a stopgap to a truely competitive GM midsize sedan in three years?

New Altima
Hate the Maxima headlights (I've always thought the latest Maxima was ugly), hate the headlights and the interior is O-K. 06 SE-R model is much sexier.

SATURN HAS AN ALL-NEW OUTLOOK
There's a lot of Explorer in that side profile.

The New Infiniti G35
The interior isn't that impressive, IMO.

Hot cars and the girls who drive them
Saw a Z8 in person a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, there was an old man driving it, not a hott brunette in a bikini.

The Aura needs better wheels and piano black
Mr. Lutz, I would like you to sit in the Sky, look at the center stack, and notice how nice and quality it looks. Notice that you have a hard time finding the seems of the stereo inset and how nice the piano black finish looks. Now, go sit in the Aura. Notice how, not only are the NON-integrated stereo and HVAC controls are the same damn drab gray plastic that GM LOVES to shove into its interiors, its surrounded, for God only knows what reason, by MORE ugly and cheap black plastic. Why? You, as in your INTERIOR DESIGNERS, can obviously MAKE interiors that are not only made of quality materials, but are also designed to send a message of quality, as the Sky HAS this exact thing. Yet the Outlook and Aura do not. As one of your most loyal and diehard fans, it truely breaks my heart that you design your cars to be 90% competitive. A 4spd auto in 2006? Non-integrated center stacks? Come on, Lutz! Look at the new Camry, look at the new Altima, look at the Avalon, the Tacoma, the Rav4, the TL, the G35, the Civic...THIS is your competition now. Not Ford, not Dodge, but Toyota, Honda and Nissan. And they are leaving you behind with every new vehicle they put on the market. My email is [email protected] and I would LOVE to hear from you on what GM is doing to become industry leading, not following. Thank You, Justin Brock aka, bowtie_dude

SATURN AURA RADIATES STYLE, REFINEMENT
Oh ok. Yeah, I really wish GM would get its interiors in order, its starting to piss me off to be honest.
-
SATURN AURA RADIATES STYLE, REFINEMENT
Are you being sarcastic?
-
SATURN AURA RADIATES STYLE, REFINEMENT
Why is it the Sky's center stack, using the exact SAME corporate stereo and HVAC controls, is ENTIRELY piano-black finished, and has its seems VERY well hidden to the point the stack seems integrated, yet the Aura and Outlook do not? Doesn't make sense to me.

The 2007 Saturn Aura
Whoever is designing GM interiors needs fired. The whole department needs to be replaced. How long will GM allow Lexus and Acura to best it in the interior design department?
-
The 2007 Saturn Aura
Thats a disappointment. What is it that keeps GM from cranking out absolutely world class interiors?

The 2007 Saturn Aura
Yay! Another voice of reason!

The 2007 Saturn Aura
I agree totally. And I made my constructive comment. Its probably the best looking mid-size family sedan...ever, with some stiff competition from the Fusion, IMO. What I personally don't understand is how a group of "GM fans" seem to constantly build GM up just to tear them down later. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with the way the production Aura turned out. Would I have liked to have seen the slightly larger wheel flares and rocker panels? Sure! But then, at what price would that have forced the Aura into? Its already at least a near $18-19k sticker for a base model. Who would be willing to pay more for a little extra flare? A few enthusiasts? Certainly not enough people for GM to justify those extras. And the only thing wrong with the G6, coupe or sedan, is the interior. Exterior styling wise I can't think of a better looking non-lux mid-size car. I saw a blue G6 GXP coupe today and I loved it. I may be a smart ass but I don't go parading my opinion around like its the end all be all of car knowledge.

The 2007 Saturn Aura
^^^^ Wow that makes such a HUGE difference. ...NOT.

Top Gear >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> C&D TV. Car and Driver Television was like having their magazine read to you. Horrible HORRIBLE show. Now Jeremy Clarkson, THERE is a man that can drive and car AND be entertaining at the same time!

The 2007 Saturn Aura
It is a very good looking car, possibly best looking in its class with the Fusion being a close contender. Which is why I can't figure out why everyone is having a fit over it.

White, Gold, and Silver Escalades
I'm not sure how many of what color Escalades you guys are seeing, but thus far, all that I've spotted on the road have been black, dark grey, or dark red. When the local Cadillac dealer got in its first 4 'Slades, there were two black and two dark grey, and all were gone within probably two weeks. Now, they've had the same 3 white and 1 gold Escalade sitting there for going on 4 weeks. Are the lighter color Escalades not as popular because they don't show off the chromy bits as well? Anyone else noticed this trend?

Japanese auto makers surpass GM in North America
Thats exactly my thoughts on the article, and why its not worth reading past the first sentence.
-
H3 vs. FJ
Totally agree. And I think the 4-spd manual thing was a typo, as the spec sheet next to the review had the correct information, though someone should really correct that mistake.

Foolish Car Spotting
Oh, I've seen three NSX's over the past two weeks. Saw a S600 with a V12, black and MEAN driven by an old guy. A few 07 Camrys here and there, I expect their frequency to grow as I see at least 7-8 truck loads a day driving to Cincinnatti, remember I live close to the Georgetown plant.

When your 'foreign' car isn't
I stopped reading when he compared General Motors to ALL of the Japanese automakers. So GM builds 200,000 LESS vehicles a year than Toyota, Honda, Nissan, and Mitsubishi combined? O RLY? @_@ What a dip$h!.
