  1. I think that is the reason most everyone does that. Some people like to find negative connotations for everything. Take the terms "guys" in "Hey guys, how are you?". Some would say that is offensive since girls are not "guys", they fail to look at the general statement and only focus on a specific word. I wonder what some of you would do if English was like Spanish or other languages in which terms all had a gender associated with them?
  2. Wildmanjoe, great post. I really liked the pictures that you used.
  3. Hello, I am looking for an Aura or a Fusion/Milan for my sister. She has narrowed her car search down to those three choices and I was wondering if anyone here worked for a dealer that had any in Michigan.
  4. I was able to sit in a new 2008 CTS yesterday and I was impressed. The interior blows away the previous version much less any other GM car. I would love to take a 3.6 DI version for a spin to see what it is like.
  5. If a Cadillac Alpha was done properly, it could be priced from $28,000 up. This would allow GM to move the CTS up in price a little to closer match the 5 series (also open up more profits). Just a thought.
  6. Does GM need the extra plant capacity for Daewoo? If not, this would be more of a hinder then a help.
  7. I agree. The Patriot, Compass, and Caliber all having the same interior more or less is kind of a let down. An off-road 4x4 is fitting of an interior that is bound to get dirty and would be easy to clean. I think the Caliber and Compass need a slightly more refined interior for thier intended markets. Nonetheless, I like the Patriot and hope it does well.
  8. Hey guys, I am planning on attending the Auto Show tomorrow and was wondering on the best place to park. I will driving down from the north and would like to get into the show at 8:00 am for the picture contest. Does anyone have any recommendations for parking? Most of the lots that I found on naias.com open at 9, which is too late.

I will not have many passengers, most of the time it will only be myself. Thanks for the heads up on that. I wouldn't be opposed to a Lucerne, but they are a little bit higher in price.

My current Lumina is a 1999 LTZ (with the 3.8 ). The car spent 100,000 miles on a rural mail route getting the crap beat out of it. It is still going with very few problems. My first Lumina was a 1992 with the 3.1 that I put over 238,000 miles on before I got rid of it. My family has owned 4-5 cars with the 3.8 and really like them. I do like the look of the Aura, but I will have to wait almost a year before some used ones come out. With the miles that I drive (yes highway) I would lose my shirt buying a new car. I don't care a whole lot for the quad headlights on the LaCrosse, but like the rest of the package. I am not looking for a car that can pull 1 G in the twisties or the like. A decent sized, comfortable car is what I am looking for. I have it narrowed down to either the LaCrosse or an Impala LS (pre 2006). Thanks for all of the input guys!

Alright, the old Lumina is getting long in the tooth (210,000) and it is time to start looking for a new ride. I have been looking at the LaCrosse as a potential replacement. I really like the 3.8 for the balance of gas economy and power. I will use this car for my daily driver and I average 200 miles a day for work. Does anyone here own one or have any experiences with the LaCrosse? I was looking at the CXL trim level and will most likely buy one that is off lease <30,000 miles.
  12. ??? The new Super Duties are much more then "blow up headlights". Why do you think the new Silverado is buttiful?
  13. Is the group buy for a specific day or can the tickets be for any public day?
