  1. Kill the brand. Make the Hummer a model of a GMC truck (Like the Wrangler at Jeep).
  2. I wish OnStar would go bankrupt. We could finally get proper navigation in GM cars instead of that turn by turn bs. Is twittering something GM needs in ANY of its cars?
  3. I love the air resources board. I hope its a model for the entire nation.
  4. California = Biggest most important car market in the USA. Californians love cars more than people in other states. Sorry if its hard to understand.
  5. We are already on the road to recovery. See you in the rearview mirror!
  6. The paint color/reflectivity doesnt just apply to cars. It also applies to homes and office buildings. I imagine that most cars will end up being exempt from these rules.
  7. I hope I'm pleasantly surprised by the production version.
  8. I hope they run out of money before they tarnish Cadillac's image with this monstrosity! The rear end is foul. This car needs major rework from the rear door back!
  9. Its counting down to a launch on April 1? Something is fishy here.

very nice. I likey. This is the kind of car Pontiac should be building!
  11. In the proposal, any vehicle with high efficiency windows & windshields would be exempt from special paint requirements. (Even the black cars)

Fear not! The world government is your friend. The election season for a global president might last 3 years? Some stinkhole country will be the new "battleground state." sounds great...
  13. Nothing is wrong with it. I just want some choices. GM has 7 brands and the only car that appeals to me is another CTS. I was hoping for a new Saab 9-3, Saab 9-5, Buick Invicta or the long promised small Cadillac. Its just disappointing. I'll have to go test drive it. For 35% down I can get 0% financing.
  14. The CTS is paid off and I am ready to buy. Where is the product? I've waited another 5 years for decent product and all they still have to offer me is another CTS or a G8. Honestly, the G8 would be a stretch because I cant picture myself in a car with big hood vents. Blame the unions, blame the retirees, blame the import buyers, blame the slow economy. I blame the inept management at GM. Where is the revitalized Buick? Why is everything future product? GM better have some great offers and financing or I am definitely looking elsewhere because the product just is not there.
  15. Thanks for making my point. Those are much nicer. Except for the first one. or
  16. After the initial excitement/buying binge wears off, this interior is going to be a serious problem for Camaro sales.
  17. Insignia = Cimarron ??? I think not. The Cimarron sucked because it was a glorified Cavalier. No one is suggesting a Cobalt based Cadillac here.
  18. A FWD Cadillac is better than no new product at all. I wonder if GM has considered setting up Cadillac as a semi-Independent company? Then it would be possible for them to purchase BMW engines or partner with another competitor like Alfa Romeo.
  19. I would buy a Lincoln MKS or the Taurus SHO.
  20. Oh those whacky Canadians! But seriously, is there even one affordable GM car right now that you would buy? It's all "future product" or too expensive to buy during a recession.
  21. I would rather see niche carmakers like Jaguar, Aston Martin, Ferrari and the likes go than see Corvette go. It makes no sense to kill Corvette, it is probably GM's most respected product and has held that kind of mystique for years. Corvette is the proof that GM can build a great product and create and enduring franchise.
  22. My point is that you are wrong. Apology accepted.
  23. The Malibu is 2 and a half inches less wide, an inch short and barely 2 tenths of an inch longer than the Cadillac. I would say I am absolutely correct in my assertion that the CTS is the larger car. You are INVALID and argumentative.
  24. You are speaking in GM sizes which don't conform to reality. The CTS is a full size vehicle and thus a large vehicle. Not by any stretch is the CTS in the same size range as a BMS 3 series or even the Chevy Malibu. I highly doubt that the Coupe is more than a couple of inches shorter than the sedan.
  25. It's a waste of money because for starters its a large coupe. There isnt a huge market for LARGE coupes. If it were a smaller vehicle the coupe aspect would make more sense. Also, while the styling is objectionable, this car can't compare to the beauty of the CTS Sedan. Why would someone chose this over the sedan? So yes, it is a waste of money to develop and market this thing. Other projects at GM need the money more. A lot of people say they like this ugly thing but how many of them would actually buy it? Do you have your checkbook out? or are you just saying they should build it because you like it? If its so great, go put a deposit down. IMO this car should never be built.
